Free GPRS/WAP on o2??? - Esato archive

Hello everyone i have been reading though all the posts and a lot of people have put down they get free gprs/wap on o2 pay as u go some thing about setting the proxy to 8080??? i wonder if any one could help me out to get the free gprs use would be apprecated!!!! also i have a sim card but i dont no the number does any one no any way of finding the number to that sim card ?????? thanks

hi

if you search esato for the free gprs settings they are on a post about the p800/900 but the settings are virtually the same. With regards finding out your number just make a call to your home phone from your mobile and then do 1471!

The free gprs settings only work if you have the ability to change the proxy (old genie sim cards cannot do this!)

not true! I had a genie sim in my k700i and swapped to an O2 online sim. With the genie sim I couldn't get free gprs but with the O2 one I could!
