"innocent"
i dunno about that.
Posted by Gigs
Gee there's a surprise verdict!
Posted by Jools
'Not guilty' and 'innocent' do not mean the same thing. Reasonable doubt does not necessarily mean innocence.
Posted by Dicky Snapples
MJ not guilty, either that or he was one smooth criminal
Posted by axxxr
heee eeeee.....he's bad!
Posted by Uncle Bob
Did he have the same lawyer as OJ Simpson?
Posted by Pradhika
If that is real, he knows better. Atleast he should use this chance to be straight.
Posted by 701
Hah,im sure he had a big party celebrating and he invited all his (little) friends :D
Posted by Pallister
Justice has been served...poor sod...
Now hopefully people will leave him alone...
Posted by twerg
Im not sure that he is innocent.... I read in a mag that MJ was considering fleeing America to avoid all the shite resulting from the trial and moving to either Europe, Africa or Australia. Unfortunately for us Aussies he has chosen Australia. At least he'll have some friends in the priests!
Posted by DJcreamz
hes guilty, guilty of being a freak
Posted by Davo_169
AUSTRALIA????
if he comes anywhere near me bum bum im swingin some punches
Posted by twerg
Yeah, it was writen in either Womens day or New Idea. Not my usual reading material, bored at work i was! We dont need him here!
Posted by Davo_169
certainly not...unless he shares some of his extensive wealth around
Posted by DJcreamz
but he owes money now
Posted by Davo_169
hah...the most expensive feel he'll ever cop
Posted by DJcreamz
lol yes indeed.
he lost his mo9ney form buying loads of crap, also probably living in a bloody theme park costs quite lot of money
Posted by axxxr
What im curious to know is what was he doing with pictures of naked boys in his house?...if he's so innocent and pure as he says he is then why the hell did he look at porn?
Posted by darky
if you believe him you'll believe anything....
this is a sad sad world we live in

@axxxr
Where did you hear that? That is an offense in itself, punishable by Jail. I think you'll find that's more rumour than fact.
I'm a fan of his music, not his behaviour. The jury had an oportunity to hear ALL the evidence, we did not. The two kids who accused him, recanted thier statements when cross-examined by MJ's lawyer. Thier mother showed herself to be a first rate idiot, and the defense presented witness' like Macauly Culkin who said "nothing happened".
The prosecution didn't prove thier case. Therefore MJ should be given the benefit of the doubt BY US ALL!
I think MJ should take a good look at himself and the way he behaves around children. I think he still has alot of growing up to do.
With his MASSIVE financial difficulties, I can't see him being allowed to move to OZ by his creditors.

Im sure that theres a hell of a lot more going on in that case than we will ever know...they had their reasons, im sure!

It was actual evidence that was presented in the case and not a mear rumour as you suggest see: Here Here Here

Hopefully this small article will help you decide if the verdict was a good one.
"I'm relieved that justice was done," said an overjoyed Jackson, who was wearing a T-shirt depicting a naked child. "I feel like I have wrestled the toddler of justice, wearing my jockstrap of truth."
Jackson also made a surprise announcement during a prepared speech to reporters outside his Neverland Ranch, stating he was getting out of the entertainment business. "When I look at the world today, with so much suffering, I realized that what I need to do is to try to help people who are suffering, and no one suffers more than little children with no parents. And that's why I am changing Neverland Ranch to the Neverland Foundling Home and Orphanage," Jackson continued. Now, little children who have no parents to love them, and no lawyers to look out for them, can come here and be cared for and loved."
Reaction from Michael Jackson fans was swift. "Omigawd!" opined Tracey Spitzer, 31. "What an amazing human being he is! I don't have any kids but if I did, I would kill myself so they could go live with him!" Tennessee native Fran Billings, who has spent the entire trial and in fact the past 15 years standing outside Neverland Ranch dressed like Jackson's scarecrow character from The Wiz, had strong feelings too but was so overcome with emotion that all she could do was spout incoherent gibberish.
"I love you all!" shouted Jackson to his fans, wearing pajama pants and visibly aroused. "I'll see you all here tomorrow for Naked Tuesday!"
The new Neverland Foundling Home has been allowed to open for business without obtaining any permits or licenses. An official at the local licensing board confirmed that the normal licensing requirement was waived. "We don't have any licenses for shit that is too nice weird to think about," he said.

I followed the link you provided and it does NOT substantiate your claim. Your claim is that he had pictures of NAKED BOYS at his house.
If so, that is posession of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY and is punishable by jail.
You didn't read the Article properly.
It said the young accusers fingerprints were found on a PORNOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE called Hustler Barely Legal. This is a magazine which it is legal for ADULTS to posess, as are the Penthouse and Playboy Magazines also found. MJ was charged with presenting these to the two accussers and found Not Guilty. Maybe they found his private stash by themselves? We'll never know.
@DJcreamz
HAHAHA very funny, I like

I know that your a big MJ fan by the looks of it,and trust me i was a big fan of his music aswell and still am.You can't really fault him on that part of his life. But as a person he is mentally unstable and a disturbed human being.Pictures of naked boys were found at his home and were presented at the trial, even a servent at the MJ's testified that she saw him having a shower with a 12 year old one night?..but i guess MJ has a good lawyer.here's a quote from the BBC link:
Here
Prosecutors in Michael Jackson's abuse trial have shown the jury two books seized from the singer's bedroom which they say show naked boys.

While you were typing your last reply, I was just working out that those were three different links
In the third link it is clear that one of the "naked photos" is actually a painting of boys IN SWIMSUITS and the inscription shows that it has GOOD motives not bad. The photographic esssay had an inscription on it showing it to be a gift from a fan! And they were from the 1993 case.
That's what is called 'Clutching at Straws' me thinks.
Fairs fair. He's been found not guilty on ALL charges.
Live and let live eh?

Most predictable topic ever!
Posted by carkitter
I know, I was waiting for someone to start it up.
I honestly though MJ was going to be found guilty. But if the Jury is so sure of his innocence that they found him Not Guilty on even the minor charges...

well dont post stupid replys then, even better go dip your big fat head in a tub of boiling fat

That was nice ...

sorry but it annoys me when people just post patronising replies like that
Posted by carkitter
I didn't think it was patronizing, just stating the obvious!
Posted by BOSSHOGG
Blatantly obvious. Nice mature response too, in tone with the rest of the topic i suppose.
Posted by DJcreamz
yur ok....
cause disscusing micheal jackson being found inocent in one of the most talked about court cases in history is imature?
Posted by carkitter
The most talked about court case in history is still to come - that of Saddam Hussein!
What bugs me about the TV coverage of these cases is when journalists interview other journalists who then quote more journalists and speculate on what the public might think! That is just a waste of time. At least they could interview legal experts such as retired judges or someone like that.

So true, any celebrity case turns into a circus in America

Ahem, old Blighty has is own three rings, just ask David Beckham and Rebecca Loos

yup for sure, dont forget Jordan!
Posted by vanquish
What the hell.
He was found innocent, so leave him alone. I agree, what he was accused of doing was absolutely disgusting but ya na, he's been cleared so that's it. Whether it's true or not who knows, but the jury were expected to convict him, but they say the testimonies of the prosecution were just not enough, they were full of holes.

@ADT0079
I think we established that there is no evidence (that can be proven beyond reasonable doubt) of that and therefore persisting with dumb generalisations is mere slander, or libel as you have written it.
I heard on an Australian news bulletin that in a statement via his lawyer, MJ has vowed never to sleep with children again.
No doubt America just breathed a collective sigh of relief.
MJ has indicated that he may sell Neverland and move to Africa to open a theme park...
1) Anyone in the market for a massive money-pit with a chequered history?
2) Does Africa need a theme park? I think they'd settle for some debt relief and a regular supply of food.
I think MJ could learn from Ricki Martin.
He's travelling Asia/India helping to eradicate Child Sex Slavery.
It's particularly important since the Tsunami.
Posted by gelfen
i think it says a lot that, aside from his accusers, practically every person he ever met leapt to his defence. usually when someone is accused of molestation their friends drop them like used toilet paper.
Posted by vanquish
Anyway, who cares, i certainly don't.
you're all pawns of the media. Just because they say something about him doesn't mean its right. I wish i could do the moonwalk!

Thanks vanquish, someone had to say it
