Just a quick question...i went into CPW today and had a chat with a snotty sales rep. Was he correct in saying that in order to upgrade to 3G on o2 i had to get a new mobile number and could not keep my current number? If so ugh ! I have had my mobile number for years and would be loath to lose it

Ah Ha !! I thought as much !! I knew i could smell something rotten !!! LOL !! Will try a different outlet later this week !! I guess he was trying to pull a fast one and make me get a new contract for the sake of it !!

correct he was only lieing so he can make money from you, apparently i think they get £10 for each knew customers that take out a contract. what a dirt bag. mate best thing to do is just phone up o2 direct.

BTW Wirral B, what 3G phone are you upgrading to? I phoned Orange for a date and price of the K600 and they hadn't the foggiest what I was on about!

Well i was contemplating the Nokia 6680 but now i think i'll wait for a 3G SE mobile to come out on o2 like the Z800i !! Is this EVER going to come out on any other network apart from the overbranded Vodaphone?
