O2 Pop3 Access over WAP Dial Up

Hopefully someone can help me on this!....Recently O2 have started charging me for using GPRS to check my pop3 email so I decided to switch to WAP dial up (as I have 500mins free a month)... it doesn;t seem to work though, it keeps on searching for the pop3 server..

Is anyone successfully using WAP Dial-up to check POP3 email on O2 PayMonthly? I used to use WAP Dial-up ages ago fine.... am using the same settings now but its not working.

It stoped working some time ago when they changed it that the only way to use email was via mobile web settings on GPRS.

hi well i am succesfully using dial up at the mo with o2 pop3 at the moment with no problems on a p910 and a s700i.
im using a pre pay sim but the set up and number is exactly the same for contract! so i dont see why it wont work unless o2 wont let contract users access pop3 on dial up purely to make you spend more money on gprs? i dont know!

Is it possible using the o2 inclusive dialup through a pc or laptop.
I tried for some time but gave up in the end and could find no info on web.
