Lol manish its not what you undertand. 40 poly means that it plays 40 bit poly not the contents of the poly. As my T610 is 32 bit poly.

I think it's proper name is 40-voice polyphonic sound, which indicates that it can play a maximum of 40 different notes each with different voices (instrument) at the same time.
