have you got active desktop on?
have you tried uninstalling/re-installing the browser?
have you tried another browser?

active desktop is on
and yes i have reinsalled the browser (this did not help)
currently running internet explorer version 6.0 under windows me

Get rid of the W-ME ! This OS is a POS !
ME and HP/Compaq have compability issues. (don't know if you have one)
You need to get W2K or WXP !

try turning active desktop off.... and see what happens
