like i said before... the tutorial didn't help me either! but thanks for the thought.

Well, unfortunately, if you can't follow that tutorial - which is the best, simplest, one available, and shows how to do it from scratch in clear step-by-step instructions, then I guess you're just not going to manage theme making!
A certain amount of knowledge and technical expertise is required. That tutorial gives it to you. It's not such an easy task so you're gonna have to bite the bullet and spend some time learning.
Nobody can help you do that - you have devote some time and do it for yourself.

dont listen to him!!!! Im sure you will find a easy way to do it! Bite the bullet! Pffft what the hell man! that is so lame!!!!

i get how to put the pictures in and chage the colors and stuff. but i really have a hard time with the .png and cropping stuff.

@Bjerkebanen
Ok, well if you know a way of making themes without learning then you tell her, instead of making idiotic remarks! I notice you didn't come up with any help. I found her a tutorial which gives step-by-step simple instructions - what did you do? NOTHING!
She needs the basic knowledge gained from following tutorials and has to spend some time learning the software to make them. Other people can't do this for her, unless you're offering your services.
You're the lame one, not offering any help whatsoever!!!

Try the link in my sig (V800 theme tut) for simple image editing stuff, such as cropping. As for .png files, those are a file type, image file type to be precise. When you're done editing your image you will have to save them on your PC somehow, could do as .jpg or .gif or .png for example. Nothing complicated about it.
Probably the best thing for you to do right now is open your image editor and find yourself a tutorial for that program specifically, to learn how tio use that first. really no amount of written text on this board will help you if you're not gonna try things on your own.
Good luck!
