It's tiny, but visible enough to send a warm fuzzy through the hearts of original trilogy fans. In the establishing shot of the expansive Senate docking bays,there's a tiny Millennium Falcon easing into frame. And it's not just a non-descript Corellian freighter; it's on good authority namely George Lucas that this is the infamous hunk-of-junk before it came into the ownership of either Lando Calrissian or Han Solo.

I'm surprised he didn't introduce us to han in the movie either.. :/

nice one didnt see it first time i saw but did notice something when i saw it again today i dont think we could see han just yet if i remember i the story of things he starts offs as an imperial officer on a star destroyer then leaves and you know the rest

while interesting, it's not necessarily all that exciting or surprising to see since the Millenium Falcon is a modified (mainly engines, hyperdrive, weaponry and shields) version of a standard Corellian YT1300 Stock Light Frieghter. admittedly, it gave me some warm fuzzies when i saw it on screen.
btw - han solo was thrown out of the Imperial Navy after intervening to save Chewie (then a slave) from unwarranted and fatal torture at the hands of a guard, hence Chewie's "life debt" and loyatly to han. interestingly, han's boots are those he had while part of the military because they are custom made to the individual's feet.
and there would have been little point introducing han in the movie since he would have been about 5 years old, and was at that time being kept on a smuggler's ship as a general gopher and being used as petty thief.

@davo
It's nothing wrong with being that interested in something. Think about all the people who think we're wierd 'cause we like mobilephones. To them it's just lights and clockworks.

it could be any kind of ship according that class, guess, there were more produced and the one that was used by lando, later by han, is called millenium falcon. so imo, its just one of more ones.
Posted by gelfen
that was kinda my original point, although according to axxxr's sources it is meant to be a pre-Lando/Han Millenium Falcon.
