I wanted to use my own tones as i did with my nokie but i can only chose from a list, Is there any way around this??

I just changed the SMS alert on my t68i, and I found a way to upload .mp3 files. With a software upgrade it becomes 3G as well.

You could always use the external antenna port and connect to a 5db antenna for better reception.
