Hello.
I'm having problems updating my firmware.. I'm stuck at R1L002!
I've tried a master reset before and had no luck. My phone is unlocked and unbranded.
I have had my k750i for a year and a half and only once was I able to update the firmware properly.. I have no idea why it stopped working.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the tips.. But half the links in that tutorial are no good anymore.. The rapidshare links are all unavailable (the files have been taken offline).
Does anyone know where I can get these files right now?

register at TopSony and then go to the Sofware section. download the far manager 1.70 and the sefp_0.10.0.50.rar or sefp_0.10.0.51.rar. that's all you need to access your phones's internal files.

You can't get access to the files right away. and everything's in Spanish or Italian..

side question: on the paparazy camera hack, if i
-turn on camera then,
-put on macro (flower) mode then,
-turn off camera (while still in macro)
the next time I try to turn on camera, it shows camera screen for a second, then exits out of camera. camera isnt useable at all until I restart the phone.

@onii: that's a common bug, that is also present in cheng's 8.54 superdrivers...i dunno what error in the code is causing it too...

So, what would be the most stable, and the best version of firmware for W800i regarding main speaker ( I can hardly hear a person who I'm talking to ) and overall phone usability. What do you recommend? I'm still on R1K001 and all worked fine until phone destroyed my memory stick. I was recording video until i ran out of memory. Hi all
Well I have some problems with my W800i: Very often, my phone is auto-restarting. When i try to play a song from my memory card, a blank screen appears and then after few seconds the phone goes back to normal (but it's not normal). It's auto restarting. I don't know what to do and it's getting annoing.
I would like to mention that:
I upgraded my firmware to R1BC002 (the old one was R1N035
I formatted my momory card using File Manager from the phone's menu.
I tried a Master Reset, but after a while the problem appears again.

i have a similar problem, when i go in walkman mode n go to artist, my fone will juz freeze... n everytime when i take out the battery n restart my fone n go bak to walkman mode my fone juz shut down n restart itself. i think the problem is due to i have too many songs in my memstick i got over 450 songs in my 2gb memstick. i put in my 1gb stick with 100 songs only n it works fine

I don;t think that the large number of songs is the problem, because i have only 25 songs on my memory card, and it's still happening! I don't have a solution...Pls help up, give us an advice! Thx

Hi guys ! I have the same problem with my phone. I have a cid 36k750i ( that had r1n035) and i changed it to a w800i with seus( r1bc002). Anyway , my phone restars when i go to artist and want to play a song or when i try making a playlist . It doesn't do this all the time. I think it's a firmware bug . Someone on another forum told me that he experiences something like this too. His phone restarts when someone tries to send him contacts via bluetooth. If someone knows how to fix this problem please post ! I was really scared at first , I thought my phone was broken.
I have 2 memory cards: a 512 MB and a 64 one. It restars only when i use the 512 one ( and i know that the memory stick is working properly ).

if it only happens with the 512mb stick, format it and then try again. dont forget to back up first.

I said already that the memory stick is good. I tried to reformat and have the same problem. Tried reflashing it with SEUS ... same problem . Any other ideas ?

well, mate, i dont know what to tell. my friend had a memory stick that didnt work in his k750, though it worked in mine. i flashed his phone and the problem(when the MSPD was inserted, the screen used to flash white and black) was still there.
and no, there wont be any new firmware.

I have the same problem with my phone(k750i changed to w800i). I think it started when I had too many messages in my inbox at 1 time(mod my fone to unlimited txt msgs) then after that it started to freeze trying to play songs most of the time eventhough I already emptied my inbox/sent items. I also have a 2gb memory stick.
I read on this link that the unlimited txt msgs mod can crash your firmware if you have more than a thousand msgs I think.

There is no firmware that supports ALL patches. There are the same patches for you firmware, so the most of them are for R1BC002 (W800) and R1CA021 (K750). The best firmware for the w800 in my opinion is the R1BC002, cuz after testing all of the versions I find it the most stable firmware.

Hmm, I flashed mine to R1DB001 but the camera is still version 4.5, any idea why that happened? :\\
I am having a problem with the camera, sometimes when I slide back the camera cover, the camera viewfinder starts, but appears only for a second then it just goes back to the phone screen, and if I activate the camera through the menu, the menu flickers for a second and nothing happens, it doesn't even get to "open lens cover".
But, when I restart the phone when I slide the cover it usually works no problem for one time only, as soon as I close the cover it happens again, restarting is a lengthy process since my sim card is ancient and it takes ages to load before the camera can get going!
Hardly convenient for quick photos.
I think it could be just dust and crudd interfering with whatever switch or contact is under the cover, or it might need a firmware upgrade?

I am using vista, K750i, (R1DB001), the camera version is 5.3
Now i wanted to update the camera driver, so for that I have to connect my phone as a flash drive.
But as soon as I connect my phone to the computer, (of course switched it off first, removed the battery, reinserted and kept the "c" pressed), the vista shows found new hardware, but even before I have time to point the wizard to USB flash driver, the phone starts it self and wizard says device disconnected. And then it shows the memory card, and phone starts up normally. Because of this I am not able to connect my phone as a flash drive. Any suggestions? (this happens every time)

hey guys! my k750 all of a sudden started saying "insert sim", could that be firmware related? I can't even check which one I got right now, since it always keeps saying 'INSERT SIM' but if I'll update the phone now, will it stop showing that? I never had any problems with it, I've been using it for 2 years and the last update I did was like a year ago, I assume some thing new is out? Every one is talking about R1C some thing update, where is it possible to find one?
okay I just found out that my firmware is R1CA021, but still it says 'insert sim' what could be wrong all of a sudden?

yea, I had to take the sim out, boot it, it said 'insert sim' then I turned it off and entered the sim and it works fine now

I updated my K750 via SEUS about 25 days ago and it updated my firmware to R1CA021, not R1DB.... so yes, just connect to SEUS and you'll get the R1CA021 for free
