@bisol : hmm,the only difference between my r1ca and your r1db is the sw, & itp..maybe it's just a small update, can't tell..since it's not available on APAC..did you update your phone via SEUS ? or wotanserver ?

I've updated my phone via SEUS.
Maybe it's only a bug with the French language... it's maybe the reason of the availability for all the FR_1.

@bisol : oh ic, so there's a bug on french r1ca before..yeah, that might be the reason why SE release the R1BD for FR_1...too bad..i was hoping SE would continue the firmware update though k750 getting older and older...

I can't believe SE would release a new firmware for only one litlle bug in one language.
But maybe did they solved some bugs for already existing features without adding any new one...
As we were "lucky", none of us experienced such "invisible" bugs.
I wish there was at least one enhancement (as there's a big list I think of).

mmmm. And here we still have the w800 with one massive bug that SE just won't fix. i.e. hissing. It is shameful that we have had to create our own fixes for this.

I'm trying rightnow from Italy, SEUS said "No new update, you have the latest firmware for your phone" but after I clicked OK it started to update my k750i with the R1CA... just because I had the tweaked menu icons LOL Now it brought back the old ones...
Anyway, no new update for Italy, that's all.

No, I don't think you can use SEUS now.
SEUS will compare your IMEI with your phone model and see that there is something wrong.
Not sure if I'm mistaking something here...

SEUS killed my phone ! i tried to update my k750i to R1DB, but when SEUS show 'downloading your phone software' it suddenly go back to the start screen, so then i went to SE service center, but when i got my phone back, i can't update via SEUS, it says \"no available update, you have the latest software installed\" with no 'continue anyway' button...and my firmware is R1BC now
i want R1CA or R1DB. could anyone explain whats happenning to my phone ? thanks

@nomy : yeah..i think when i try to update to R1DB, SEUS has changed something inside my phone..maybe it's CDA or others..i don't really know, i have sent my phone back to the service center..hope it would be fine soon...

Hi,
I compared the acoustic files in R1CA021 and R1DB001
and found that only the following files differ:
handset_0_call.aec
PHF_1_play.apf
PHF_2_play.apf
PHF_play.apf
The new acoustic files did not solve the hissing problem
for my K750i ...

the new firmware is absolutely soooo unsuccessful on mp3 performance.
Maximum volume is slightly lower, let's just say like one bar.
Playing quality is reduced, it just sounds like a noise filter is applied on tracks.
Equalizer presets are less effective, especially there's almost no difference on Mega Bass.. That used to be great on r1ca021...
I am totally frustrated with this ''downgrade''...
I wish I hadn't done the upgrade......

OMG! You are right people,this new software bring only troubles..
The sound of MP3 songs are lower,and there is some kind of filter that react on high tones in song,but it sound very bad at all....
As someone asked,how to back up on earlier version???
