As u can see on my last post i'm having troble after i flash with davinci on the new firmware R1CA021. All they reply to me is something could have happened to my GDFS. So today i ask one of my friends here to UnlocK it for me so now everything seem ok.....

@rockygali i use davinci.Davinci is good but only when u have problem it take time to get ya answer. I dont know about other davinci user but in my case i have to fine my own solution. My advise is try to use SEUS first then if anything goes wrong then use davinci. I will try to take somemore pic tonite then i post it.
@kulorex i dont even have any any hissing on my last firmware (R1Bc002)
so i dont nothis on the new one too.

I have a w800i o2 branded phone
as you lot know SEUS allowed released the latest bit of software for mine back in march.
o2 however have still not allowed this to be updated onto my phone
is it a case of me getting my phone unlocked for all networks? will this be brand my phone from being o2 thus allowing me to update to the latest software released for unbranded phones, or is it not that simple?

No unlocking your phone from O2 will not de-brand it.
Unlocking the phone would just allow you to put any other operators sim cards in the phone. O2 have their own version of software on the phone and the phone has a customization setting.
I sugest you read the first post and then take a good look at www.davinciteam.com. Read all the help info on there about de-branding a handset and unlocking it. (It would cost 2 credits to do both).

Have noticed a high quality video camera mode which is not limited to 10 seconds but to the size of memory card.
Also got time and date recording to photos.
In general - R1CA is much better than R1BC in terms of pictures.

Provided you debrand it correctly and only put on K750 Firmware then yes you cankeep using SEUS after the debranding, however if you decide to update to W800 firmware with davinci then you will not be able to use SEUS

I've unbranded k750 and I ve just updated it through SEUS. Although it shows now that it has the new firmware, it ate all languages (despite of english, and t9 languages are still the same) and the camera sw is still 4.5...I'm from poland (emea_1). Who knows what've happened?

Hi, i'm kinda new here.
Every time i run SEUS i get a fatal error popup.. I'm using update 5 of Java as i heard update 6 causes problems..
Error i get is : java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
Anyone know how i can fix this?

I use update 6 of java no problems at all, best bet is to uninstall SEUS from your system and download it from SE site again.

I saw on the first page that the new firmware has been added to SEUS, but is it solely for the K750i or is it also applicable to the W800i?
I have tried updating using SEUS nothing seems to have changed.
I unbranded my W800i with Davinci and changed the CDA as the phone was previously an Orange UK branded one.
Apologies if this has been asked already.....

Just updated my unbranded UK K750i to R1CA021. scrolling throught the menu and selecting icons seems faster. Can't really notice and difference in picture or video quality to be honest. Only things i have noticed while on the camera are under settings there are 2 new buttons, a 'Turn on date and time' button and 'Reset file no.' button. It seems faster on the media player too when starting to play songs. I also seems faster when looking through pictures in the pictures folder. Overall all i've really noticed is speed improvements in the phone. Nothing major.

hi, i just updated my unbranded k750i to the latest R1CA021 and here are my observations:
- reduced video quality
- faster menu
- speaker volume: same
- low light condition shots: better
I'll post again any notable changes; but for the meantime - I would suggest to stick with your R1BC002 firmware until you find this a worthy update.
In my opinion, its not.

Wish SE thinks of having something to FF videos in full screen mode. And also when playing videos Full screen in Media Player, it changes back to normal from full screen when the video clip changes. So you'll have to change to full screen for each and every video.
