hey chamak, give it a rest for a couple of days. seems that SEUS is not working properly again. i have EMEA_6 and i still cant update. it just says no updates available. and once it said the same thign u have, unable to blabla restart. so just chill out and try again in a few days. if that doesnt work then feck it! no need for updates anyway!

Just updated to R1AA008.
The only problem I noticed, is that some games, i.e. Colin Mc Rae and Sheep Mania, don't fill the whole screen now. They leave two small lines on top and bottom o fthe screen.
Before the update, R1L, they filled the complete screen.
Anybody experienced this?

I had this problem initially. I found out that there is some contact issue between the USB connector and the K750i contact points. Try re-connecting a few times until the phone is detected...

Are you sure? I'm on R1N035 and Colin McRae doesn't fill the screen for me (also has strips at the top and bottom). I think it's because Colin McRae is adapted for Nokia and their screen resolution.

I've updated on mars 10, friday, my K750 :
Here are some bugs and improvments i've noticed :
- Hissing sound is removed
- Zooming on any size or panoramic pictures is now possible
- Rebooting when cutting video clips in VideoDJ is now removed
- Pictures are taken immediatly when the shutter sound is heard
- Pictures size has increased so, less compression best pictures !
- Volume increased everywhere except the reminder alarm in calendar
- MP3 and AAC/MP4 sounds better than ever
- When making a call, the HandsFree button is enabled when the other side phone starts to ring. It used to be enabled when the commutation is established with the BTS unit.
- Scrolling in the calls list pauses the mediaplayer
- Free space is displayed in Mb instead of Ko in the status screen
- New Theme is included in the firmare : 'wave'
- New frames are available in the PhotoDJ or camera
- When in PhotoDJ, the option menu now disapears only when selecting an option or function from the submenu, so, pushing back button takes you one level back in the option menu
- Navigation in menus seems more faster
- Applications and games are slightly faster
- USB transfers are fixed entirely
- Signal seems more stronger (in the same place, 85% vs 71% before)
- In MMS : using QuickShare to send a picture just taken, now the picture is displayed as a thumbnail in the object field.
- Emails : Text is now formated to look better and if a picture is attached, it is included inside the email with the text.
- Battery gauge still inaccurate
- Java app./Games Memory can be overloaded and could affect Internet profiles
- Deleting more than 3 java app/games (when many) reboot the phone
- Wireless messaging (my friends) could be altered if memory is overloaded
- Video clips are the same as R1AA008
- MyPhoneExplorer now have some problems to initiate connection with the phone on Bluetooth (Timeout problem) but could connect if trying many times (2 or more)

Hi,
When i wan't to flash my phone, i constantly get errors. The software says that there is a new update and when i press yes the software starts updating and at the end of the update the statusbar freezes and the software says "error occured, please remove phone and try again". Well, i have removed the phone and tryed it again. But no succes. Now my phone can't find any photocamera drivers, i can't play any mp3 music and my phone is in english now (normally dutch). Is there any possibilty to flash the phone to a older firmware version??

I'm from the Philippines and I am pissed off by the SEUS update because I downloaded the software, followed all the instructions to the letter and then suddenly while the update was in progress and I was waiting for it to complete with my phone connected - suddenly at around 40% (4 bars) the update suddenly stopped and gave me this error message that the update failed and for me to try again.
So I tried again but to my dismay I discovered that the updater would now give me a message "No update available". What the heck? So I unplugged my phone and tried to switch it on and now it wouldn't switch on. How can this be? When eveything I did was carefully follwed to the letter. My battery is fully charged since I had left it on the charger overnight to ensure it was fully charged. And now my phone won't switch on?
Really guys I hope my phone's internal memory didn't get zapped out!

The only thing i can think to try is to try the updater again, but when it comes up saying no update available, try clicking "continue anyway". This will attempt to reflash the phone with the current firmware again, my guess is that the updater has updated the part of the firmware with the revision no in it before crashing out, therefore when you try again it thinks you already have the latest f/ware. if you don't get this option then try updating update service to 2.6.3.3. Good Luck..

I thought that firmware would be same for W800 !!! But it wasnt !!!
I updated my W800 at SEUS .. it told me i dont need to update.. but i choosed Continue .. i still have the R1AA008 in my W800 as i had before the update .. !!!
Are they going to release own W800 firmware soon ??
What about the firmware R1BA013 ?? will this be avaible in SEUS ?? cause it containt a cool thingy !! its the possibly to enable phone-based firmware updates !!! Would it be true in next firmware of W800 ??

lol completely usseless feature cept for people with unlimited gprs.
OTA updating will COST you more than anything, i mean you can even buy standalone third party solutions for that kind of money.
my provider=3 cents per kb
firmwares size approx 10MB for main and bout 2 MB for fs.
lol and davinci credit only 8 bucks or seus 2 for free or USB smart for $60 or cruiser for $100.

k700i model had a Browsing over Bluetooth and it was left out on k750
and w800 models probbably due to the SECURITY reasons and I think (most
users agree) that that was unnessesary because it didnt affect much on
"strenght" of BLUETOOTH security. That BT browsing was helpful feature
to use.
WALKMAN MEDIA PLAYER
When movie is played it would be very usefull tu have a GOTO (or seek)
option for longer movies.
Resume feature for movie player would be nice too For music playing the
FF could be faster (have to hold 4 min to FF music set) or even better
to make Fast Forwarding speed increasing when holding button
SMS MESSAGE wRITING
When writing a SMS, when CALL comes in or accidental exit from message
writing menu it would be very helpful if the last entered text could
stay in memory so next time user goes writing SMS the last text he
entered is already written.
These things could make w800 or k750 perfect phone

they've said that they read numerous forums (including esato) to determine which updates they might include in the next firmware. but most of the items the people want aren't even in the lastest FW.

To all experiencing errors updating firmware - be persistent! I attempted to update my phone last night and it took maybe 6 attempts before the thing would follow through with an update.
Many times SEUSII would hang or produce an error on 'identifying phone', or after the phone was identified, or when I should release the C button.
Keep taking that battery out, putting it back in, and starting over!
And for those having issues with the phone turning on while holding down the C button…
Ensure you have the USB drivers installed on your PC. I think they're located in the 'drivers' folder in the installation directory of SEUSII, but can also be downloaded separately from the SE website.
I think for real problem cases (when the USB drivers didn't want to install), the best solution was (prior to running SEUSII or DaVinci):
(i) to have the Windows Device Manager open, do the whole, 'remove sim and re-attach battery thing),
(ii) hold down the C button and attach the phone to your computer (keep holding down the C button - so maybe use your left hand
). An unknown device (or K750i with a question mark) should appear in the device list,
(iii) Immediately right click on that icon and go properties. When the icon disappears, you still have the dialogue box open, suitable for manually specifying the location of the USB drivers.
And an additional piece of trivia: After I started my phone on the update process, I suddenly realised - only 42% battery remained! Ahh! But it was too late to unplug the phone.
Would you believe it came out ok - with a cool 0% battery remaining. I wouldn't want to see a repeat of this, as it could properly ruin the phone, but rest safe in the knowledge that at has been done on a low battery level at least once!
Furthermore – I noticed that the phone prompts to add contact birthday information to the calendar as a recurrent event. This hasn’t always been the case has it? I’ve never tried it before now, but did see that Eldar made quite a note about the K800i’s ability to do this…

I'm just getting all the more frustrated by this. My phone was in good condition before I attempted this update and now it simply won't switch on. I hope it's just a battery problem but I just fully charged my battery last night. Too bad I don't have my charger with me now I'm at the office.

i hope your connected in broadband... about the page... its still there.. got to visit that a couple of minutes ago. you just hafta be patient with regards to these updates.
one thing more... before you attempted your update.. can you remember what firmware are you in and what region is the phone from?
