I just installed SEUS, after getting the "sever busy" message a few times I managed to "get in".
But now it's stuck on "downloading phone software", it's been around 10 minutes. And it's definately not downloading anything (unless it's doing so at 1kb/s, according to du meter).
Can I just close the app and try it again?

what speed is you internet connection? It takes about 7 mins on my pc so depending on what your internet speed is it could be slower. My advice: just be patient!

Is there any way to know which version will SEUS II flash to? With SEUS I I'd look at the files names before reconnecting the phone, but now? How do I do it? Are still there some files downloaded which we can look at to check the version? I ask this because didn't tried to update yes using SEUS II.

Ok i got the latest firmware yesterday (R1AA008) everytihng is fine but when i send a message usually the bar underneath the slider would move along showing the progress of the sending, now its just a blue bar. Does everyone else have this or is it just me?

I flashed my K750i to a W800i using davinci team's R1N035. Can I use the SEUS to Update to flash my "W800i" to the latest R1AA008?
If not, how can I update?! I really need to know as my bluetooth doesn't work anymore since I flashed my phone to the W800i!!!

You have to flash it to R1AA008 using DaVinci. It will cost you a credit and you will have to install all settings again since it's a complete reflash from scratch.
SEUS can't be used to update K750 with W800 firmware since the phone is recognized as a K750 to the service (simplified answer). Some people here claim you can if you have a W800 generic CDA string, but that is wrong, so don't even try it

Heya,
The SEUS 2 splash screen stays as seen in the attachment for a long time and there seems to have no network activity.
What may be I am missing?
Update service flash drivers and all the other signed trivers are installed.
PS: My phone is a W800i.

possible BUG in r1aa008 firmware: when trying to trim a video in the photo dj, my phone immediatley shuts down and crashes, not responding to anything, i resort to taking the battery out to get it back to normal. happens every time...

ive bought this phone yesterday @ 300
now I don't know how to update firmware..
I downloaded SE update service, followed the instructions and at the end it said update: update failed try again, did it 5 times.. always same message. So i gave up put sim card back in phone.. I think the update was successfull becauze I was able to use my phone !
then I opened the camera and it said no good driver version (0.9) download 4.5 .. so i search google and landed here
..
can anybody explain me how to do it good..

My K750 has R1AA008 (from mid december) and I have this problem with hissing/breaking up calls. For fun I tried the update service again yesterday eve. No warning that my phone had the latest version and the update service downloaded about 15 new files for the phone. I checked in the db folder. Is it a revision 2 of the R1AA008? Haven't made any calls yet to check for improvements. EU4.

last time i check... SEUS 2 cannot operate smoothly behind firewall...
it sez in one of the threads here that in able to achieve smooth upgrade you have to disable your firewall, disable antiviruses softwares and pop-up blockers and any software similar to it... your PC has to be as open as it can be...

Just come back from holidays. I Decided to use the camera on my W800i to take holiday snaps and found what I believe is another bug with the r1aa008 f/w. i.e. on quite a few occassions I have taken a photo by pressing button half down(to focus) and then pressing all the way down to take the final shot. Then after the shutter sound and when saving is displayed on the screen I move the phone away. Now you would think this is a reasonable thing to do. But I have found too often you end up with a photo of your foot, a blur or a very delayed version of the shot you were trying to take. It's like the camera takes the shot just after it displays saving. I'm not sure if it has something to do with how long you hold the button down for when you take a shot but I think I noticed a difference if I released the button immediately after the shutter noise.

Looks like O2 have withdrawn the update for their phones. Not confirmed.
When I tried to update a few days ago it asked it I wanted to update, however trying again today and it said there were no updates available and that the phone was up todate. So unless N0035 is the most recent I think I'm right.....
Anyone spoken to O2 about the firmware?

Not spoken to o2 but I updated my phone before Xmas and it went through ok on o2.
I was on R1N035 and now I'm on R1AA008
I guess they had too many complaints about the problems with hissing!

revision 2 of r1aa008 was relelased a few days later after it was available for k750. With revision 1 you always had message communication error with device. If SE will release new firmware with some internal changes, it will be not r1aa008.

Well I should have mentioned that I used SEUS 1 when I upgraded the first time. That was the 14th of December. I did not get the communication error. Then when SEUS II arrived I upgraded once more just to see if there was any changes. This was around the 27th. Didn't get any errors that time either.

I have tried to off the firewall and antivirus. And I found that it is still the same. I made my concusion that i can never use SEUS 2 under proxy server.
I will try to upgrade the firmware outside my campus.
But if someone having the same problem as mine and have the solution, please kindly reply to me.

I recently changed my motherboard...
I had MSI ATI X200 chipset...and had Invalid Parameter iss after upgrade to 008...
I recently a Gigabyte nvidia 430 geforce 6100 mboard
And the iss with Invalid Parameter is gone...
So it is an iss which also conserns the mboard.. and the firmware update

Once again...please someone; how can I know which version will be flashed to my phone using SEUS II? Do I get a chance to pull out the cable (like on SEUS I the unplug-plug.with.C.button) to check the files downloaded?

Dan it all depends on what version is available for your current firmware.
SEUS II decides which files to flash on your fon... perhaps the newer one in its server taht fits your fon's CID stuff like that... SEUS II can evaluate all of these.
and about the unplug-plug thing... uummm havent tried it in SEUS I, and i know i dont need to do it in SEUS II either. i have probs with SEUS I before so i didnt bother to go on updating further via that service, so i choosed Davinci. then after awhile tried updating SEUS II the very first time it became available and luckily my update went thru without a glitch.

To zeus_hunt - I doubt the parameter incorrect will be chipset specific. I can dupicate the problem on 3 different computers with 3 different chipsets (intel, sis and Via) regardless of USB1 or USB2. Being an unpredictable error it will probably come and bite you again just when you think it is gone.

this invalid parameter thing just shoots whenever it wants to without warning even tho you know you had a good setting for the phone and your PC. its prolly a bug which has sumthing to do with interrupts? with port communications.. what do you think?!

I know that SEUS will update to my CDA but, what I meant is if I can CHECK for the files downloaded before it flashes them. That's why I asked if there is a pause between downloading and flashing where I would have to re-plug the phones, so I could go and check the files for their version. This is cause I don't want to go from R1L... to R1N... instead I'd like to go to R!A..

Does any one know if there is new software for o2 users? I an on R1AA008 and just checked the Update service and it started downloading new software. I stopped it cos I wasnt sure what software was going to go on. I thought I would have got a message saying I was up-to date?

Use Davinci team's client to check the color of your phone... if it is Brown SEUS will NOT upgrade it and you'll have to use DaVinci to flash and/or change you CID.
