does every other theme posseses the same dark bars? have you tried changing one? lighter themes perhaps? can you post another pictures on the same windows.. perhaps calendar bars? i think its only on the themes.

i got the same script error (only two bars completed) and my phone died (can't power on). it was brought to Semicon main in Marcos Highway and it's alive now with R1N035.

Having seen how we end users found so many problems about the firmware, I really think that SE should fire their QA staffs. Instead, just run a voluntary program for a limited number of end users to participate to test out their soon-to-be-released firmware, and have these users to report the problems they have found. It appeared that every new release of firmware creates a new batch of problem. Suddenly, the R1N035 duo bug does not seem as annoying as that terrible background hissing sound when on call. After this release, we may need to wait for another few months for an updated firmware (with more bugs probably.) Maybe someone should gather some signatures or names and sent them to SE as a protest against their quality of service/product.

If they're giving the same crap as the ones our local service center has been giving us (board problem my ass!), dont give in to their capitalist scheme and just wait; its better waiting 3 month for an update that would (probably) fix your phone than wasting another $300-$400 to buy a new phone

Has anyone noticed that with R1AA008 their bt is worse than with any other firmware?
My phone constantly freezes using bt with this firmware.
I never had this problem with any of the previous firmwares.

I have noticed that since the latest update the MXE-60 flash seems to be better and fires now when it never used to with the old firmware and thus takes better pictures

While trying to update my F/W i got the "screipt error" message even with SEUSII v2.2b.
SO i HARD master reseted my phone and now what i get is the "u have the latest F/W on ur phone" message.

Well I am running R1AA008 and I dont have any problems with bluetooth, neither did I with R1N035 for that matter. So all you can really try is to master reset (settings) or full master reset, update and see if that fixes it.

To Mwarner: Could the summary for the R1AA008 F/W be changed so it does not suggest that changing usb ports will fix the paramenter incorrect error - This is wrong and misleading - proper testing will show that this does not work. Could you also add the instability of the phone when using SE Filemanger to copy files from the phone memory i.e. the phone resetting itself. These a both major bugs that should be accurately reported on the cover page.

I dont know whether this is related to the latest firmware or not, but since i temporarily changed sim cards today (for a reason i wont mention), and then put my regular sim back in, whenever i try to charge my phone im told it has an alien battery.
Not a problem, just bizarre since ive been using the same battery since i got the phone - the battery that came supplied with it.

yes, the most stable so far. R1N introduced the cable file transfer bug - then R1AA solved that and introduced a new phone to pc file transfer bug.
However for the risk of having difficulties with phone to pc file transfer, R1AA has louder sound output in both speaker and headset, and a few other minor improvements.
If on R1N and suffering usb cable problems then upgrading to R1AA is a must, but otherwise there is not much appeal. Why fix something that's working?

i think the issue of "why fixing it if it works" is really not an issue.
i mean we love technology and the benefits that comes along with it.. its not actually fixing things... its improving or developing it that we love the most.
thats what tech is all about.. making life easy. so we whos in the know-how with regards to these upgrading stuff like to be updated all the time. thats all i wanted to point out.. its not fixing things.. its getting along with technology, since the fon is equipped with such things. why not use it.. but wots lacking here is the continuous support coming from the manufacturer... continuous meaning after firmware release they hafta take note of the point from where they left off. that they have to notice theres something else to upgrade...
well infairness with SE, i guess theyve really working hard about this.. its just that... customer support lacks. in some ways.. they hafta let their consumers know wots cooking behind the kitchen.. thats all.

- but nothing seems , IMPROVED.
-my pictures are coming with MORE gamma and blurry at edges , the colors aren't coming good.
*this is the picture when i had R1L002 Firmware , that time the pictures where sharp and well saturated.
* & NOW, this is same location picture with same settings of its pervious taken but with R1AA008 firmware .
--- CHECK the difference between these 2 pictures ......, i WONDER is it UNIQUE case with my camera or ALL u ppl are getting similar kinda CRAPPY pictures with R1AA008?
---- i DOUBT cuz , such BAD saturated pictures started coming when i was using R1N035 , then a BUG of the firmware started to corrupt my MS , from then on-wards my camera started taken SUCH crapy pictures.( check the wiERD folders i had before on my STICk )
---- ok before upgrade the firmware to R1AA008 , i FORMATTED the Picture folder( which had the wiERD folders) of Memory stick with phone, it cleaned all the JUNKY folders created my the BUG . so i wonder did formatting only the PICTURE folder which had BUG...., cleaned all the junk from the phone ? or should i have done a complete memory stick formattin ?

@ CrazyBus - Im sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but it is rather ironic how when your update fails, SE use such a negative background image in the update software, the lightning strike.
It couldnt have been more ironic if they'd used a picture of a tombstone, or skull & crossbones.
@ rockygali - i dont think its anything to do with the sim cards, its the same with the sim ive always used in the phone. Anyway, im currently charging my phone right now, with it switched off and it just says charging as normal, it doesnt say anything about alien battery.
Its not worrying me, i just think SE might have screwed up their battery recognition in the current R1AA firmware release. The phone still works fine, just rather amusing to find that my phone no longer trusts the battery.

To be frank the K750 software sucks - yes it is getting better but R1AA is what I expected back in May.
One of my employees who worked at Sendo summed it up - any manufacturer who provides a software upgrade via a web-site knows that they expect to upgrade the software regularly.
