R1N on the W800i is different to R1N on the K750i.
Basically the W800i R1N is the T1Q055 firmware I tested at work about 4 weeks ago. Its better than the K750i version - which should be available at the start of next week I believe...
The MR2-B version of R1N doing the rounds at the moment is a temp patch...

Can anyone help me out, my camera is not working. When choosing it, it "flashes" at the menu but nothing happens (it does not start). All updates have gone okay.
I've re-flashed atleast four times and no success. In the software information -menu, there isn't anything about camera or camera version.
SEUS has downloaded following files:
HL1_1250092-EU1-MR1_000000_0000_R1N035 (10 553 KB)
HL1_1250093-EU4-MR1_000000_0000_R1N035 (873 KB)
I've tried master reset, master all, master settings, I've tried with and without MS Duo.. any ideas?

^^^ Zuff, did you go K750 R1L to W800 R1N by any chance?
I've heard a rumour that if you do so then the camera won't work, and that you have to go K750 R1L -> K750 R1N -> W800 R1N.
Anyone able to confirm/deny this?

Right click the toolbar on the right, click customise notifications, u should be in taskbar, click customise n there u should be able to set 'safely remove hardware icon' and any other lost icons to always show etc.
if that doesnt work simply right click the external drive n select 'stop or eject' works the same way,

Anyhow - I havent had file problem but then O2 branded users like me are stuck on R1L.

Just to make you all aware. I was able to update My Orange K750i to R1N035 when it was out. Today I have gone back on the update site and my firmware has now changed back to R1L002.
And Camera Version 4.4
there must be something realy bad if they have put the old R1L002 back onto the server.
I didnt have any problems with the R1N035 and dont have any problems wiht the R1L002 however the camera has become worse again. So its up to you.

Problem like when trying to put files on it, then al of a sudden all files all deleted :S
It may have been my mem card that acted stupid.. anyway.. it pissed me off so much I broke it :|

so i contacted SE and they told me that my nearest SE service centre is nearly 200miles away and it would be easier for me to send it away for 2weeks for them to do the update - surely there must be a way of doing it myself - ?
i have tried various sim cards in my phone orange etc and they work, i have no vodafone branding on my phone (only vodafone live) and when i completed the update on sunday it just told me to turn my phone on, select the english language and its done! but when i turned my phone on it gave me no option to choose any language and i checked my firmware and it was still on R1L002 - ???

I thought I had an unbranded phone, as there is nothing at all on it from O2 however SEUS will not let me update from the R1L. Its actually a french model looking at the manual and packaging. Is there anything I can do to be able to update the firmware?

The only way is thru a SE service center... email SE and ask for addresses close to you....

No the phone is not locked. There is nothing on the phone from O2 at all. it is a bog standard W800i.
Which is why I can't understand SEUS not letting me update.

I have a credit on Davinci but can't get the thing to work, everytime I connect the phone to PC it keeps turning itself on, Can't figure out what am doing wrong, have foolowed everything to the letter.

Ive noticed a significant change in the mp3 playback. Before i couldnt but the megabass on and have it max volume without it distorting through the headphones, now i can and it sounds much better.

i have two K750i, one black one and one silver vodafone one.
the black one can get R1N035 on SEUS, the silver one R1L002.
If i plug the black one in, let it download R1N035, and take the update to the stage is says 'disconnect your device and hold down C' etc. then connect the silver one up would it flash it with the unbranded black software?
