SEUS updated my EU_2 unbranded K750i from the sh*tty R1L002 fw to the new R1N035 fw. And I must say, HUGE improvement i.e. better reception, camera and video quality. So yes, if you're on R1L002, it would be a sin not to update
P.S. I had flashed my phone to R1L002 using Davinci and reflashed to R1N035 using SEUS.

Well its nice to see that when i posted on page 112 that only 2 people said i was mad and that the update wasnt there.
Ok so the server said R1N005, but what did me is that it was only just put on there and this firmware has come out along time before.
So im not going totaly mad then.
Any way, before any one asks. Orange K750i still has R1L on the SEUS, but it normal takes at least 1-2weeks before the server is updated.
So i will let you know.
Not that im bitter but its nice to be right every now and then

for all that cant wait for their region r1n035
all you need is change cda to eu2 in davinci or sonics cracked(if you have gdfs to hexedit)
tested, works, stable
in service info both main and fs show as r1n035 and yes camera v4.5
edited post will test some more
phone languages change to eu_2 but dictionary stays the same after seus

Hello, I'd really appreciate some help with this. I used to have a SE k700i, which I unlocked and debranded myself through DaVinci and everything went fine. I also unlocked and debranded my girlfriend's k500i, so I thought I knew my way around DaVinci. I recently changed my phone for a w800i. I got it on eBay and the guy shipped from Hong Kong, so obviously it didn't come with my desired language pack (probably the same I used on k700 and k500, EU1. Don't know if there are any others with spanish). 'No problem' I thought, 'I'll just flash it myself'. But as it turns out I've found no way to do it. I can't find the flash files, and, even worse, there is absolutely no reference in the DaVinci site to w800 other than to flash a k750 and turn it into a w800. I've also been reading and people talk about red and brown softwares which I have no idea what those colors mean. So, my question is, IS THERE A WAY TO FLASH MY W800i USING DAVINCI? (or any other flashing tools, I don't mind). And if so, COULD SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO DO IT?. Thanks a lot! (I guess I'm not the DaVinci expert I thought I was)

Thanks for that, but I am after slightly more specific information in the following format:
1. Type of phone, e.g. O2 branded UK phone, Unbranded phone from Hong Kong etc etc
2. The CDA number - this is what SEUS uses to determine whether to flash your phone or not
3. Your region.
All this can be found under Customization. See my post above.

I can't update to R1N035!
I've been trying all day it it keeps saying that my device is already up to date.
Is anyone else getting the same thing?
- I tried another K750i which was R1J and it updated only to R1L.
I'm in Melbourne, Australia and I noticed a few people from Melbourne had already updated so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I don't know if this has been asked before and I might be sticking my neck out a bit on this one: Do you think it would be useful to have the main Firmware Overview post list the firmware in reverse order, i.e. with the most recent first? Generally people who read the post, I'm assuming, are more interested in the most recent version.

I tried both off the australian site and the hongkong site but no dice.
Altho... I have the 5 bars of reception?? and still the camera ver 4.4... I thought the 5 bars of reception was introduced in R1N??
Also, everytime I try to flash my phone SEUS doesn't come up with the message saying that my phone is upto date, it will go through the entire process everytime and i'll just find the same firmware.

Updated the first post to reorder the firmwares and improve the layout.
Updated my CDA post on P116 to include the recent posts.
It's interesting that the generic UK firmware CDA102338/38 R6A does not currently update but the generic Europe 2 firmware (as 'recommended' by Davinci) CDA102337/10 R6A does allow the update!
