Not sure about this because if you backup games to MS then take MS to another phone the games do not appear on the menu - ie the phone still knows something about the game on MS. So - updating the phone may still delete the link to the game on MS.

after full fs flash with ms card in theres only default games/apps installed but in other folder jar files are still present. all you have to do is reinstall them to their games apps folders.
the reason that seus doesnt reset your phone is cause it only fully flashes main file the fs seems to be only partially updated 'not full flash like third party' and version numbers changed. flashing just main with davinci also leaves your settings unchanged but why would you do that lol you spending credit anyways you might as well get most for your buck. think seus trying to save on bandwith and updates only differences from old and new fs.
that is why third party is able to give you some extra features by editing original fs from se then encripting it so you cant do the same lol.
main file is tamperproof and has to be flashed completely which im sad to say means that theres never gonna be k750 firmware with plane mode or w800 with multitasking middle button unless se releases it as such which i doubt. upgrades like that are allways reserved for the next phone and they promote it like something new, eh!

OK - I install as I download rather than download to a folder then install. I'll try your method next download I want.

R1A was the first firmware created (production fimware) so it's not new at all. If you want to know about R1A read the creator post of this thread. But if your talking about R1N(Unreleased Firmware via SEUS), I dont think anybody here has info on that firmware. But then you mentioned R2A:???: Can anybody tell me about this I confused.

Ok Heres the news that i think that you have been waiting for.

To unlock my SE K600i (I also have a K750i)
Any way, I downloaded the latest version of Total Multiserver and i always check the see if there are any latest revison of the firmwares for the phone. And to my supprise.
on the 11th Sept, if you look at the K750i folder you will notice that R1N005 has only just been added. Now i know from the first page on the screen that this is a test or so it says, but Why was it Only added on Saturday now.
I also checked the W800i and noticed that now on Saturday again the latest one for this was R1L002.
So does this mean that SE update service will soon be updating too?
I have just tried and got the error messgae that i still have the latest version.
But you can check for your self.

R1N005 isn't new, it's an old beta, check www.setools.net and the news from 2005-06-30...
Our Support Zone has been updated with SEMC/Sharp firmware listed below:
- K600 firmware version R1K001
- J300 firmware version R2AT003
- W800 firmware version R1K001
- K750 test firmware version R1N005 (not official FW some bugs found.. not recommended)
- Sharp 801 full flash for repair (usage: flash then unlock)
This brand new firmware is available only for card version of setool.

no much so far, camera seems to work a little better, but then again i've only had the phone a week, so can't really tell.

It's not that I don't believe you, it is just that I would like further confirmation before I update the front page - people have been waiting for a long time for the next firmware update and have had been given incorrect information before so really require firm evidence. I have personally tried it on my O2 branded phone, and SEUS still provides R1L.
If you do take a photo than it would be great to post it in this, or your own R1N, thread.

can't really comment on photo quality yet, im no photographer, and it's 2:30am here! it seems that the video encoding is alot better (well from first reports anyway)

hi bros, i'm from singapore n the new video is as what i've seen on my imtoo settings...bit ate 127..hurray well i took it at night soo might be some ajustment during more light exposure if i take in the morning.. previous one suck at only 50-80 bit rate...thats all folks for video only

My originally EU_3 phone, converted to EU_2 via DaVinci was easily updated to R1N EU_2 via the Global Support section.
My initial impression is that bluetooth seems a bit slow to start a connection, camera quality seems improved, and it's showing one extra signal strength bar.
