A PERFECT STORM. These are some vistages of typhoon Milenyo as it ripped through metro Manila 3days ago. I took these photos on my way to the office. The storm left a trumendous amount of destruction- uprooting trees, electric posts, house, shattered windows, toppled vehicles and blowing away huge billbords. It rendered the whole Luzon with out electricity and left scores of people dead.

what a disaster mate.. my country (Malaysia west site) felt the storm by yesterday night aswell.. man it's raining heavily together with strong wind.. but miraculously, nothing as serious as your country..

@quick - We were HIT . . . FIRST last Thursday, death toll at 60 or 70+ , Vietnam was HIT next . . . when it was on it's way to my place . . . some US Military Forces said thru a REPORT that it's gustiness (wind) was measured at 110 KPH . . . looks like they forgot that it was in MPH and not KPH

looks like it reached something like 200 + KPH (wind)

@Quickshare, that typhoon, so far, was the worsed ive seen in my life time. The trail of distruction was just overwhelming. Its a good thing nothing like this happened when it hit your country. But vietnam i think also experienced the brunt.

afaik, after you change to the next camdriver, the service menu will show the current camdriver version .. it won't stick to the previous one.. btw im not quite understand your question but just hope this will helps

i "upgraded" my camdriver to a higher version, 5.4, and when im gonna check this out in the service menu it says:

Camera SW versions
Camera
Current 5.3

why it happens if i upgraded it?

i downloaded the file "camera_driver_v.5.4.rar" from topsony.com and i erased the camdrive0.dat from the cel and i replaced it with the 5.4. Am i doing something wrong?

Btw, what is the display_driver_edited.rar for?

when you're talking about display driver.. i guess you have to use it together with the higher version camdriver(5.4 i guess) to make complete changes with the drivers version.. but i never heard anything about 5.4 version camdriver version released by

.. the latest for the original firmware from

only reaches 5.3 with R1DB001 firmware.. where did you get that and what are the changes from 5.3 with the new 5.4?

i'll be telling you later cuz i have to replace the display file too. so the process is not completed i only replaced the camdriver0.dat file.

urm... before you apply the 5.4 dispdriver from the Far manager.. copy the original one to the new folder.. i bet you know how to copy files with Far Manager don't you?

i assumed that your're asking which camdriver is the best isn't it? for me.. i'll stick on 2.441 Camdriver from akds.. the best camdriver for me

im fully satisfied with the performance

Went to Honda Shop yesterday . . . and took some CAR pics (showroom) :

Went outside the showroom and took the customer's parking lot . . . part of the edifice's facade . . .

Took the Civic's engine . . . this one is a 2000 cc. They say that variants comes in 3: 1.6 L, 1.8L and the 2.0L engine, however . . . I've not seen the 1.6L engine Civic models on the service bay though

. . . mostly 1.8L and 2.0L

After a short-visit at Honda I hurriedly went to Hyundai's Showroom . . . as I was so curious how this TUCSON-SUV model looks like

After which, I am convinced that it looked far much better than it's - Santa Fe (SUV) model . . .

@stingjoel - The vehicle beside the Hyundai Tucson is a VAN, commonly called the - STAREX at my end (Manila), I don't know how's it called in Indonesia. But we have an ATOZ (small-compact-sedan) here as well . . .

@tranced - Yup, I like HONDA too . . . I just don't rely on the Hyundai's - ENGINE (does NOT last that long . . .)

@quick - Yup, the size is 800x600 matey . . . and YES, too it's a K750i ! You can differentiate that thru the color of the date-stamp option . . . just what you have said back there.

@rocky - It's definitely a K750i ! I post my images captured with my K618i - 2 Mp in the other thread dude . . . Quickshare is so much right when he said that you can SEE (in a way . .) what fone was USED by simply, looking at the COLOR of the date-stamp shown in the image (lower-right portion) . . .

I will try different settings . . . as I've seen that there are NICE and NOT-SO-GOOD shots made by me

hmm afaik, when you're on 800 x 600 mode, it equals that you're not using the full 2 mega pixel resolution... but anyway, the pic turns out great and sharp hence less noise are noticeable.. good work jojo

@quick - I just double-check on the settings on my K750i dude . . . under the Pictures Size settings . . . it is placed on: Medium 640x480. I wanted to set it to LARGE . . . but some shots taken SHOULD be sent asap to my relatives abroad (US) . . . and the medium size image is adviseable when sent via MMS . . .
