i've been apartment hunting for some time and i just found the perfect place. as i was leaving i tried to call my lady-friend, but i was shocked to see that there was NO SIGNAL! no bars at all on my T630
t-mobile coverage is very good where i am (boston, USA) so this is very confusing.
i drove down the street, about 4 houses, and the signal slowly came back!
should i take this apartment? it would mean switching carriers, and phones.. the place is just so perfect.
anyone have a similar experience or advice for this?
i'm going to drive by the place later to test the signal again.

well it makes no difference now.
the tenant showed me the place, but she just learned that the owner already rented it. so i guess it's not an issue anymore.
i'm sad though because it was so sweet!

It's a pity that we have problems like that in 21st century. I think you should change your apartment. Ofcourse there is always an apportunity to wait until problem will be fixed.

I live South of Boston and my last apartment was like that. I am with Cingular and if I had to make a call I would have to use an 850 Mhz phone to get decent reception inside the apartment or stand on the balcony to make a call. Anyway, that was only a temporary place for a month. Now I can use my K750i with excellent reception at work as well as home!
