or kain na lang sa BODHI so far ito pa lang ang vegetarian fastfood na nakainan ko na "ok sa panlasa ko" . kain na ! ( o ayan pang commercial yang line na yan ha!)

@ rakee actually baka mataas pa nga dyan ngayon ung price nyan kasi 4 months ago pa yang price na yan. If your not a vegetarian dont buy it kasi baka d ka sanay kumain ng mga meat substitute, d mo siguradong magugustuhan ang lasa. if you wanna try a vegetarian food

You're right, Bodhi is a good (and inexpensive) place to test one's taste for gluten - the "meat" of vegetarian dishes. I noticed though that Bodhi tends to be inconsistent as regards flavour quality, branch-to-branch. For example, I find the SM Manila branch's cooking to be fresh and tasty, while the Southmall branch churns out mostly bland dishes.

The funny thing about "adapted" vegetarian food is that a lot of effort is put into making it look as near to animal meat as possible. Like the trick of making gluten look like chicken skin by using a strainer with tiny holes. Once i almost made my officemate believe that if you put Bodhi's bagoong under a magnifying glass, you could see alamang made of gluten. With eyes.
