As discussed at length in another thread the O2 UK free GPRS proxy appears to strip cookies from HTTP requests passing through it. The odd thing is that when I log in to Esato forums on my mobile I stay logged in from page to page - I was even able to edit my profile - until i try to post a reply at which point it logs me out.
This raises the question: Does esato forum use any means of authentication other than cookies? I tried turning cookies off in my browser but am then unable to stay logged in.
