I really should have taken my proper camera yesterday to Liverpool cos in the Cavern in such lowlight phones are crap.

Posted by hihihans
Sometimes I wonder, do phonecams get worse or do we expect more?

Posted by Bonovox
Get worse. There is 3 meg camera phones made years ago better than some new 8 megs The Nokia N8 would have been perfect in the Cavern club

Nice pics mate. I thought it is elvis but no, it isnt.

All have rejuvenate ourselves during weekend. Now we are ready for another 6 days. Good morning.

Hans, oh i also keep forgetting to post my votes. I will do it as soon as possible.

Posted by Bonovox
Hello Ceaser how is you?? It's another working week and i feel quite get up and go this week for some reason. Maybe it was my weekend in Liverpool and chatting to nice ladies in the Cavern club. We mingled with the crowd alot

Posted by Bonovox
This is my new w995 Red arriving this week. The actual photo of it for £80 Coming from UK seller with 100% good feedback on Ebay. It has all new housing refurbished. Going to use it as my camera phone & spare phone

Posted by hihihans
Red is beautiful

Posted by Bonovox
Oddly enough i seen a bloke with one last week at a bus stop. See not everyone has touch screens still. I seen a woman a few weeks ago with a Satio and someone with a w595

Posted by hihihans
It's almost weird when someone has a 'oldschool' phone. A friend still uses her j200 or something like that, you know with that tiny b/w screen

Posted by Bonovox
Wow that really is old skool. Not even i would go back to grey scale screen

Satio has touchscreen , but you're right, a lot of people are still using their non-touch phone (with PAYG or sim-only contract), because it's still working fine or they simply don't like touchscreens.

btw, that red W995 looks good !

True. How are you Marly??

Posted by Marly
Fine, thanks, and you?
You enjoyed Liverpool, I've read, nice pics too.

Posted by Bonovox
Yes thanks. I loved Liverpool but we did not give ourselves enough time to do everything. We will return cos there is a tour where you can visit the houses where Paul McCartney and John Lennon lived. John Lennon his old house is now a shrine. He is one of my idols. Plus you can visit Penny Lane too but the Cavern where they first played was cool

Posted by Marly
Sounds interesting!
Never been in Liverpool myself, even though we've been in the UK several times, but usually visiting only a few days, we hardly get out of London , there's so much to do and see, and we have friends there.

Posted by Bonovox
Yeah you need alot of time in London. Been a few times. Liverpool is great though like most cities it has its run down parts which we accidentally drove through. I like a city which has a big port and river near the sea. Birmingham is boring it just has canals

Posted by Marly
When you like ports, you should visit Rotterdam, the harbour once was the world's largest, which it isn't anymore, but it's still huge, there's a tour through the harbour, and you feel really, really tiny in that little boat, next to the big container ships, it's great fun
The city itself isn't very special though, some interesting modern buildings and a cool bridge, but hardly any romantic old places, like in Amsterdam.
Due to it's harbour, Rotterdam suffered severe bombings during WWII, large parts of the old city have been destroyed during these attacks.

Today I will take a walk in town and try to make up my mind which phone I will get me ,it looks like I will go for the Mini pro.... but need to see the Ray first.

Posted by Bonovox
Ah thanks. The Ray is nice but if you like camera the photos in Phone Arena review look awful. I am using Dolphin browser now on my Android phone its so much faster than Opera.

Hello guys, hope you all are fine.
Two days ago I experienced the most extreme earthquake ever in my life. It was 6.9 Richter scale. It happened more than two minutes. We had to evacuate our building. Man it was really scary…

@Bonovox: Have you changed your mini pro to chacha? Was something going wrong with mini pro?
(in our Bangla Language; chacha means Uncle. Lolz)

Posted by Bonovox
Wow 6.9 that is strong hope all is ok?? The Mini Pro no there was nothing really that wrong with it. It was just me i like the candy bar type qwerty phones that's all. The HTC is great.

Posted by adnansanni
Yeah that was really strong. Our apartment on 4th floor and the building is 5th floor high. It was shaking like a tree. The earthquake origin was beside Bangladesh’s border; in India. As far as I know more than 68 persons died on India. Here in Bangladesh, nothing big damages or casualties.

Posted by Bonovox
Scary having to live with that Strongest one I have felt in my life was one here we had in 1984. It was 5.4 but in the UK we are lucky we hardly ever get them & are never normally big But that was big for UK. Last one I felt was 2002 4.8

I don't believe everything The Daily Express says but look at this headline.

Posted by hihihans
Why, what's the matter with Kate's mum?

Posted by Bonovox
The big freeze you silly

Posted by hihihans
It's just an ad for iceage3

Posted by Bonovox
The Express newspaper is known well for doing stupid scare storylines which are never true. But ya never know. Last year they said we were in for a long hot summer Do you remember the summer??

Posted by Marly
There was a summer , when ?
[ This Message was edited by: Marly on 2011-09-20 23:14 ]

Posted by Bonovox
A Thursday back in July

Posted by hihihans
Ha! We were lucky. Summer was no a Saturday in Holland. April I think.

Posted by Bonovox
April?? That was an early distant memory then. It is pouring down here right now and all day today. My dad had good news today his eyesight is clear again in his right eye. He had laser eye surgery after diabetes complications. But all is well now and he was given a clean bill of health for his health check up.

Posted by Marly
That's good news about your dad ! More and more people are getting laser eye surgery, they say it's less painful ?

Posted by Bonovox
His eye is sore a little afterwards but its amazing what they can do these days.

Posted by hihihans
10am and 've got the light on indoors where's the sun?

Posted by Bonovox
Need bigger windows??

Posted by hihihans
Or clean them

Posted by Bonovox
We have quite a small living room window but a big front bay window. In the morning the sun is shining through the front window. In the late afternoon it's through our living room and my rooms window. Sometimes it is too bright and we have to close the curtains to see the tv or it shines on your face if sitting on sofa. But this morning here we have blue skies though it is chillier

Posted by rikken
There`II be blue skies over. . . . . .

Posted by ceaser2008

The Midlands today has gone fully digital on tv. The old analogue channels have gone. Different parts of the UK are turning off analogue bit by bit. Mobile networks are trying to snap up that extra capacity
