I hate when a chippy is taken over.
There is one in wales, where my Nan used to have a caravan, and the site chippy was always great. We were down there recently, and the chippy was open, so we got some chips, any they were shite. Ended up leaving over half of them, and even the seagulls wouldn't eat them.

The ones that don't are always the best, my chippy was run by the same family for years and years and got taken over last year. The new staff are nice apart from the turnip not knowing he had a blackberry lol, but the food ain't the same.
