Work experience was the dog's bollocks.

150mph in an LS600h LWB? God my supervisor's brilliant!
We did like 120 in the RX400h.

Ahh. And I watched over 2 sales. And ordered a used car. And booked valet appointments. And I'll be in the workshop on Thursday. Oooh and there's an R8 at the Audi place nearby, my supervisor is friends with the peeps there so I may be allowed to go for a ride in it!

It's brilliant!

Posted by fatreg
My old dear is looking at getting an LS600 to replace the IS250.

she'd have an IS-F tomorrow but apparently there's a 2 year waiting list!!

Posted by arien617
The 600 is f*cking immense Reg, I'm telling ya!
Went out in it again today, supervisor showed the adaptive cruise control and self parking, delivering it to some filthy stinking rich guy. Ben's selling 3 600s to him. ONE bloke. It's a little over a quarter of a mil!

The peeps there are going on an IS-F track day in July. Get to know the car a little better and etc. More to the point, thrash it around a track.

Hi folks. Hows things going

Just ordered a HBH-DS220 from Play.com for £39.99 so I got a headset to use while walking to work cos I still dont have my car back (3 weeks to fit a headlight and bumper !!!).

At least the missus can have her Sony bluetooth headset back now

Posted by Trev1982
evening all, are you all watching the soccer???

Posted by paul101

Posted by whistla
Its been a while since ive been in here! Its an excuse to get away from revision anyway!

Posted by paul101
who are you??

Posted by whistla
Judging by my name....im Whistla

Any more questions!?

Posted by arien617
Reg, I think it's Brighton or Southend Lookers Lexus have one, just ONE IS-F RIGHT NOW!

Go and beg them! It's going out to a leasing company soon though. Lloyds are gonna have it if I remember correctly.

I shouldn't be telling you this, should I?

Posted by thomas93
Where would be an intersting place to do work experience?

Posted by whistla
The RAF

Posted by Miss UK
Ive got Work experience in a Charity shop next week im glad it's there and not some food place, working with the Eldary is so rewarding I think they have manners and are polite

doing it as voluntary to get some Customer service experience as I wouldn't mind working in a retail outlet

thing is people keep trying to put me off

Jobcentre for one thing and the volunteers person whom arrange the placement for me.

is retail a really bad thing to go into work for? :/

Posted by Trev1982
retail suck's i seriously thinking bout being a dustbin man i can have my hair and piercings then lol

Posted by tranced
Corpus Christi today: no work and going to church later

you wont see me till tomorrow maybe

Posted by Miss UK
Taz, Im abit surprised at the Jobcentre though trying to get me to do something else other then retail lol

ive mentioned Administration and Catering so ive got that down as 2nd and third choice

You can earn alot being a dustbin man,
means alot more showers though

what about working on the Public Transport buses?
West Midlands travel are always recruiting, theres alot more wimmin doing it now too, I can't drive but

Posted by pmerryman
Free uniform, and free travel for your family.....mmm.....so tempting.

Posted by Trev1982
anything will do i just dont see why i cant have my piercings in

Posted by tranced
that's their policy. accept them or leave'em

Posted by Miss UK
Hmm I think working for a Bus Travel company would be treacharous,
they have so much time to get to and throw to there depot's...

hence why they never make it on time to there stops,
annoying the punters lmao!

but saying that it's a rewarding job "On the buses"

Ooh ive just found a £5 voucher from eBay in my email box,
so ive gone and bought a Chassis for my 6100 and another clear case for my N95

Posted by Trev1982
yes and also discrimination tranced, there is actually a religion of body modification,

Posted by tranced
discrimination? i think it's their point o' view and not discrimitation.

Posted by Trev1982
im not starting a argument because that happened at Tesco i took them to court and won so ner ner lol,

how are you anyway how was your holy day???

Posted by tranced
well, the holiday's been off. i've been in the house the hole day. but im thinking that i'll be watchin some movies by the evening with my wifey and some friends.

Posted by arien617
Thomas...

LEXUS! Well the one I'm at until tomorrow is proving to be brilliant!
They've got an order of 3 LS600h for one bloke!
And by the time you're doing it, they'll have the IS-F in as well.

Posted by thomas93
oooh, can i do whatever the heck i like for w/e

Posted by arien617
If you have the patience to find a good private placement, like I did, then yeah.

Unless it's with a taxi firm or summat. I'm sure insurance would simply say no to that.

Posted by fatreg
I did work experience where I now work

Posted by paul101
how did that work out??

Posted by haynesycop
What a day had to take my Grandparents out for lunch and then water came through the kitchen ceiling, stupid shower. Got my spending money for NYC though.

Just shy of $3,000, hello Tiffanys!

Nice one on the Tesco front personally i don't give one if i see people with piercings and tattoos, just a shame others don't either. Didn't you work in the back anyway? So it's not like you where dealing with customers all the time. People are so narrow minded.

Posted by fatreg
and where did you get £1500 from wifey??

Posted by haynesycop
Well i was in a pickle with cash so i got a loan, paid off my credit card, which has been cut up, my overdraft, paid off my gym and one of my contracts that i didn't use, along with my topshop card got my spending money and have enough left over to pay my car insurance for the year. Feel so much better now that i've consolidated everything, only got three outgoings each month now instead of around seven.

Posted by fatreg
ah...

schneeky schneeky...

Posted by haynesycop
You need to get sorted now, not long to go now, getting excited, and are we doing the helicopter trip so you can use your camera lense?

It is a weight lifted i must say, direct debits don't half add up, you think there not much but when you have so many it gets stupid.

At least now i'll only have the internet and my phone bill to pay.

Posted by fatreg
I wish it was that easy!

rent
car insurance
tv license
phone bill
mobile bill
few others I can't remember!

Posted by Miss UK
The only DD ive got is Vodafone,
My Catalogue lets me pay as much as I like each month I don't use it over the top mind I owe £35 and yet ive got £1400 credit

I would love to get my credit card outta my face £600 Sigh!
might give to my pal till it's completely paid off..

you never know when you need them one day,
plus with mine I get freebie Sony Stuff with Pulsebeats earned!

one of my ex-colleages have got themselves into so much debt,
he's 45 living with his mom and doesn't eat, all he does is buy rubbish and porno mags, he says he's depressed, ive said to him get his act together one of these days his mothers not gonnabe around then what?

is he gonna top himself?

he's a pathetic sado tbh!

That is what i hate my Mum has a friend she lives with her parents and they do everything for her, her Dad sorts her car insurance and MOT and even fills her car up with petrol because she doesn't know how to do it. I swear i'll never be like that, her parents won't be around forever then what will she do, gas, electric, council tax, water rates, amongst other things. You can't live your life like that there is a sense of achievement doing things by yourself, i've worked and had bills since i was 16 and i'm proud of that, yet mums friend can't fill up a car. My Nan is the same but when she was younger it was a different world, my Grandad does everything for her she can't even use the video recorder because she won't try, he won't be around forever and she'll just be left helpless.
