Posted by Evil Eye
@miss what happened? Why r u depressed?
Posted by fatreg
hmmm join the club miss c,
best bit of advise i can give is keep your head high and keep smiling.
a happy persona is worth ten times more than a few extra hours at work.

i need a full time job but work wont give me full time hours i dont want to leave and my nan is having a big go saying i just walk away from college i left cos i wasnt happy and was depressed
all she says is im nearly 21 and done nothing with my life
Posted by batesie
i had a dream last night i saw a mushroom cloud going up in the centre of london...
Posted by haynesycop
i know but when you have to live on 14.5 hours a week its a bit difficult aint it
all i want is some more hours even if it was 25 a week its better than nothing at all
Posted by Evil Eye
@miss please cheer up lad. These all things happen in life. Cheer up matey.
Posted by fatreg
@ Miss C.
ignore your peers. im am 21 and have so far done f00k all with my life! been in the same shopi was when i was a saturday boy!
you will find happiness in some way or other, friends change, being who you are im sure you wouldnt be a stranger in a new job for too long!
chin up! (both chins!!
Hmmm 14.5 hours a week, hows about another part time job to slot in beside your current one? like at tescos??! or somewhere!

@miss there r many rough patches in life. U have 2 fight through them and win. Now please cheer up and smile.
Posted by haynesycop
i am not unemployed my current job wont give me extra hours
i did think of another part time job fatreg but what about the tax
they take loads more of you when you have a second job dont they
hhhmmm
what to do
Posted by fatreg
nahh they dont miss c,
if you tell the tax office you have two job they will split your yax between the two jobs, you will only get stung with tax if your new employer doesnt inform the IR that you have another then you will be hit with 50% of your earnings!
not good.
i cant see your main job having a problem with working somewhere is its not as if what you do is highly secretive or anything if you cant my drift?
fatreg
Posted by Evil Eye
@miss invest ur money in a profitable work.
Posted by haynesycop
thanks i didnt realise that i had a friend who had another job and the tax she paid on the second was stupid it was like 25% of what she earned
think i will try work one more time and if not have a hunt around for a second job
maybe bar work or something
that way i dont have to leave but will have more money
Posted by fatreg
thats a contrdiction if i ever heard one!
invest your money in profitable work? her problem is she has no money!! she needs more hours to atain more money to invest it (at a guess) unless she (being miss c) wants more money to buy more new phones and ipods etc!
fatreg
Posted by Evil Eye
@miss do u mean 2 say 'bartender'?
Posted by haynesycop
because i aint at college anymore i am bored so i want more hours to keep me occupied plus the extra money would help me buy more gadgets
Posted by Evil Eye
@miss so u r lookin 4 extra money? Rob a bank?
Posted by DJcreamz
My brother has two jobs he dosnt come off to bad he works whsmith and at a school, he got taxed a fair bit at the start but he got it back, i got my tax code thingy today is horrible when i see how much tax ive paid last year makes me SICK
Posted by fatreg
that whats it all about innit miss c?? you want a W800i as well as a Z800i and your current wage ait gonna support that!
bar work is always good, you ge the atmosphere of being out meet new people but earn while your doing it!
@ creamz! aye P60s are not fun to look at! think i paid approx £5k tax last year!

£450 a month you must be rich
the most i payed was £80
that shows you how much i earn
Posted by DJcreamz
well £100 of that goes into a pensio, but that will probably be worthless in a few years.
As for being rich, never, im buying my misses a car at the weekend she passed her test last week. Im also paying her to never drive me anywhere, theres no life insurance that good.
Posted by Evil Eye
@miss how much?

i hate that my commission gets taxed!
it sucks big time!
fatreg
