possibly a console game, but there are rumours that pc version is also developed.dont think that your current gen gfx card can handle half of this.

There is one thing I miss when it becomes as detailed an realisthc as this; dust, rubbish and dirt.
It looks so real, but too clean if you see what I mean.

You could smear some on your PC monitor and use your imagination

Clever...
No, it's just that I doubt there is a city, anywhere in the world, where the streets are as spot less as that
Posted by k4m!k4ze
yeah thats a good point, i dont think any city exists which is that clean but when i have that level of realism in ANY game, i dont think i'll be looking at the dust
besides animating dust and smoke consumes a LOT of the processor
btw u guys think any of the current gfx cards can handle this ?
That corolla reminds me of NFS UG 2

the answer is in my first post,it has insane amount of reflections and too much polygon.
smoke and dust isnt the real concern as far as processing power though(look at ug2).

I like the cars!

Truely astounding!
I can't wait for the next gen consoles and remember that the early release games are the least impressive!!!

You guys should remember graphics ain't everything - there are still many other factors to consider such as AI, sound and physics which are just as important.

honestly, i have seen streets like that...
there are a few cities around here they look somewhat like that

the thing that really caught my eye is the detail on the bricks...each one is individual

can ps2 handle that graphics? btw how many mb of 3d accelerator card does a ps2 have?
Posted by nickorooster
No.
PS2 Could never handle graphics like that. Xbox could try to handle graphics like that with some clever bump mapping a less reflections, but it would still not get anywhere close.
I think (am not sure) that the PS2 has a 32mb graphics card made especially for the ps2, with a 333mhz clock speed. The Xbox has a 64mb card, made by Nvidia especially for the xbox, with a 400mhz clock speed (I think).
Basically, nothing in the console world this generation could handle it.

i dunno, a 16bit mega drive with the 32bit mega-cd add on may be able too
Posted by nickorooster
Oh yeah, or an N64 with that extra RAM "boost" pack maybe
Nick

yer lol that was the only game, the saturn was released not long after the mega-cd

Im pretty sure that ps2 nor xbox can handle the amount of graphics in it,but xbox2 and ps3 will be able to handle it and as well as coming generation pc gfx cards(likes of r520,g70).
