How Do I set Up Yahoo POP3 E-mail??

I've imputted all the imformation i can find.
I live in the Republic Of Ireland, but i presume that it is the same.

I have a data connection active on my account(mobile phone account)

i have the following setting in,

connect using: (my GSM data account)
POP3 server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
POP3 port: 110
Mailbox: (my yahoo username)
Password: (my yahoo password)
SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP port: 25
email address: (my yahoo mail address)

what am i doing wrong??

it came up with a "cannot connect to server"

please help???!!!!

I live in sweden, and use comviq net operator, and tiscali mail sttings, and I have exactly the same problem...

Hope someone can help us.

Try to write pop3 and smtp ip-NUMBERS, instead og the names.

Yahoo email only works for some.
E.g. in Denmark Yahoo doesnt support pop.

With Yahoo.COM adresses it works.

In your yahoo.mail you have some "options", there you have to "enable pop3".

the above didn't work for me either ... and i have tried entering the addresses as ip's ...

You cant can have yahoo free acount with other mail programs.But Gmail is free for POP3 and forwarding.For GMail settings visit http://1w1w.wen.ru/services.html
