Can anyone answer why o2 won't let it's payasyougo customers use mobile web?

The gprs charge is the same no matter if you use wap or mobile web, so why not let all customers use it?

i pity anyone who admits to working for 02 on here.
they would never get any peace!
personally i think 02s 2.5g service should be shut down and all exisiting customers given free 3g handsets.
lets start afresh with a network thats not clapped out!
