hi i am wanting to buy a z800i as soon as it is released, i am hoping it will be in the next couple of weeks
knowing the amount of trusted sellers, jiggyjaggy, peterkay, merc_man, the_whizz, i am hoping that some of you may be getting hold of some soon

The V800 can be unbranded by contacting gbrooks3. He offers a full debrand for only 10 pounds.
Alternatively email repairs@se-nse.com
But yes, a Z800i would be a nice option

z800 will be available in 2 weeks here, on a 3g contract, on Connex Romania. The price will be about 500$ sim free, and 350$ on contract. I played with one in a shop, 3g demo model, is GREAT !!!! My next phone for sure.
In UK the price will be lower, of course, u get always the best prices
So , watch out the next 2 weeks.

is that usa dollars, because sim free works out at around £250 if the $500 you quoted is anything to go by
i am pretty sure it will be coming out on monday over here, hopefully

preferably one which has never been branded or locked to any network

Miss Copperfield, i would highly recommend you do what i did.
I bought a brand new V800 off ebay, a seller called eleccom_sales, and then got some Z800 covers for about 20 quid and got it unbranded.
Trust me, once you start using the phone you dont see the Voda branding, until its debranded and then you realise, but its not all that bad!

lots of people have recommended that, but i would rather wait untill next week when the z800i is released
it all depends on price really, if the z800i is too expensive for me then the price of the v800 will go down and i can do what you suggested

Ooo-er. Sellers name, let me check.
You can get a lush matte black one, which is not voda branded and has a metallicy rougher finish than the liquidy voda black one, more preferable. The voda covers, excluding the copper, are not metallic and your hands can get quite sticky!

I saw a thread the other day that said SE wont be releasing the Z800i in the UK. You might have to look at getting imported.
