Sorry for intruding (if i am). I will be moving to germany in january first week for about 10 months and i will be based in Weinheim (10 km from Mannheim in Baden-Württemberg). I already have a new spanking SE K790i so i am not looking for a phone. But i was wondering which network provider i should go for. My critieria are :
1. cheap international calls (primarily to my home country - India)
2. I would prefer a pay to go or a pre-paid rather than a fixed monthly bill type of connection
3. I would be travelling a bit in europe on work so maybe cheap roaming though that is really not a big factor
4. Cheap and unlimited GPRS data connection

Hello. Meine Heimatstadt ist Ettlingen. Das ist eine kleine Stadt bei Karlsruhe in Baden-Wuerttemberg. 75km suedlich von Mannheim.
Als ich das letzte mal in Deutschland war, das war 2005, hatte ich eine prepaid von Vodafone. Ich war damit zufrieden. Moeglicherweise gibt es auch guenstigere tarife mit O2 or tmob.

yeah when you go to Germany just go into the shops and findout which is cheaper, my friend keeps moaning about her Vodafone over there being expensive infact she never phones me
it was only when she came to London I got a call
btw try o2.de im on o2-UK when I was in Berlin for 3 days my roaming charge was really cheap £2.08p

Enrico I can put MP3's onto it no problem but I can't assign them as ringtones I don't know why? Im hoping Samsung could let me know when they get round to answering my email

I don't know enrico,
I can convert MP3's into the format for the phone then the traxx play as ringtones but, they sound really low... and not long enuff

Kein Problem! Es gibt ja viele Englische Akzente wie Spanglish (Spanisch-Englisch)! Wir können zur Not auch Germaninglish reden...
Benötigst Du in Norwegen oft Englisch?
