Could someone tell me on how to upgrade the firmware?
Mine is R2AA003, which firmware should I get in order to get the "mute sound" on the camera shutter?
I'd appreciate any help!

Well... Latest firmware is R2AE.I use this firmware.Camera's sound is "on" always,but you can make all sounds "off" by pressing "#".

There is a newer firmware than R2AE. Its not out yet in the service centres afaik.

In Sony Ericsson support service say to me:"R2AE is latest firmware"!!!R2AA is oldest and in all service-centres gives R2AE... [:] / Sorry,i don't speak english...

i have the same problem..i am in india..here there is no firmware upgradation in my area...i jus wanna mute the camera ..maybe if there is any code or some way...

Does SE have a firmware upgrade if we log on to the Fun and downloads web/wapsite?
