i dont know if this is possiable, but i have 2 computers, (both the EXACT same computer) and i was curious if there are any cables that can link them together (without a network). like, even just a cable to the monitor, that will go to both comps maybe? idk this sounds retarded, but i just dont want to link it through my network.
orrrr... does anyone know how to open the comp, and manually put them together? i dont know what i really want to do... but im getting sick of seeing them just sitting there and i want to do something with them.

Without knowing a bit more about what you are trying to do here's one solution
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/N/null_modem_cable.html
it's a null modem cable - connects two PC's together for file sharing etc.

hahaha shipping a tower would be expensiveeee hahaha
i could sell it... i would even let it go for 30 quid hahahaha... but the person would have to pay shipping! haha
but the shipping will be more than the comp! lol so i doubt its worth it... i might pawn it... idk

ECS - sounds like you want a KVM switch, it allows you to share a monitor, keyboard and mouse between 2, 3, 4, or more computers.
For choice, theres so many out there that you can shop around and still come away happy.
They all have cords that just run to the backof your PCS so you can also get alot of free deskspace by bein able ot move the towers, desktops etc a couple more meters away.

What are the specs of the computers in question? The best solution I can think of involves simply stripping one computer of all its useful components

you could cluster them and make your two computers into just one powerful computer.
