small hint choose a number as you would and take note of the symbol once its read your mind, then click try again look at the symbol next to the number u previously choose, its differant u will notice but that symbol will be the symbol u which will show up in the ball when u click it

Oh I see how it works too..
It can only be certain numbers, and each time the symbols change, but those numbers will always have the same symbols as each other.

Whatever number you choose you'll get a number where the first and second digit added will result 9.
And that's math.
And if you check all of them they have the same symbol:
09-18-27-36-45-54-63-72-81-90 .
