THIS IS WHAT I DID:
MENU
CONNECTIVITY
Internet Settings
Internet profiles
New profile
Name: Fido
Connect using--- Data accounts
New account
GPRS data
Name: Fido
APN:wap.fido.ca
Username: fido
password: fido
SAVE
SELECT FIDO <----------------------------------
SAVE
move to Fido press More
Settings
Connect using: Fido
Internet mode: wap
IP address: 205.151.011.011
Security: off
Username: fido
Password: fido
SAVE
BUT WHEN I GET TO WHERE THE ARROW IS, THE PHONE TRYS TO CONNECT AND IT FAILS CONNECTING. SO I CANT FINISH THE REST OF THE SETTING.

This part seems ok. Now your account needs to be activated at the server end by fido
Edit : try apn as fido.ca (i.e without wap in front of it.)

you mean i have to call fido and ask the to activate my wap service?
and if they did how can i know if they did or not?

First confirm whether your gprs is active from your operators side.

i called fido but they told me since k700i is not a fido phone i have to call SE 800# to help me which i did but i als got stuck the same place "where the arrow in my first post".
where do i have to enter the ip address that's what i could not find.

You need to subscribe to a certain level of service from fido, for that to work. Or is it free?

1-GO TO THIS LINK:

GO TO WAP SETTING ENTER THE INFO AND SUBMIT.
YOU WILL RECEIVE A MESSAGE SAYING INSTALL --->CLICK YES
NOTE:WHEN YOU ENTER PHONE # ENTER +1(10#)
