Hey everyone!

Every ringtone i take from Ericsson site or Esato.com seems to be playing too fast, does anyone know what could cause it?
A bug in the software maybe?

This seems to be the same when i make my own melody.

And another one, when i enable screensaver, and disable display sleep, display still sleeps after screensaver, delay is about 10 minutes.

Is this another bug?

Hi. I own a T65 and encountered the same problem with the melodies I download- they are too darn fast! I was able to find a way to slow it down a little- when you download the melody you have to edit it. Then insert pauses (p) which on my phone is on the * key. You might have to insert 1 to 3 additional pauses after each note. Listen to your melody again and depending on the song, you might have to remove pauses in some areas and add more in others. It's just trial and error. Good luck and hope this helps! <:)>

I did try inserting (p) in there, but then it goes too slow...

Hmm...think i should mail Ericsson and ask about this, it doesn't make sense to me that they've changed the way to code the ringtones and or changed the tempo, as i can make my own melodies the same way as in 2618 and other phones i used to have. Weird.

Hi!

I have R600 and have the same problem.I sent a mail to ericsson (Hungary),but no answear since 2 weaks. (
I will try this thing with P...
Do you know any softeare for R600??? I mean software that works...becouse i have a lof,fe.for T65,but they doesen't work.

Something else:Can i download or edit animations and screensavers somewhere?

I mailed Ericsson support about screensavers and they said you canīt make your own - not yet anyway (guess never). You can have a custom picture as a screensaver but no animated ones. Meaningless because the only difference between a background picture and the screensaver would be the clock and the network info. Strange because the two screensavers that come with the phone are animated.

I mailed them about software as well and they donīt plan to release any for R600. My opinion is that they could at least upgrade MyPictures so you wouldnīt have to upload and download a background picture with WAP everytime you want to change it. I think itīs because of the lack of support that makes the phone so cheap.

If U want longer tones, why not just hold down the alphabet U want ?? Eg: f when U hold down becomes f. then F then F. which is really long! Try this !!

doesnt seem to work on the R600... and the amount of notes is extremly limited... especially if you put pauses in...

I dont think that the meldoy is a bug!

I also own a R600 and I know that is way too fast.

A friend bought a Nokia 6510 and he also encounter such a problem.
The standard ringtone sent to him was way too fast also.

Could thins be the new firmware?
I do not know!

I dont think SE will be concern about this phonw any longer cos they will mostly be focusing on the new generation phones

Sorry to bring up this thread again, but there is no software download for R600 at all so I doubt that MyPictures supports the phone.

the problem woth the ringtones is that you can't adjust the pace of the ringtone...this is because the ringtone software on the R600 is really bad...

you can't do anything about it
