What isn't it doing? The 13 scond trick only deletes the pre installed stuff such as pictures, themes, tones etc. It does not debrand or unlock the phone.

you do a master reset and after 13 seconds you remove the battery. The reason it is 13 seconds is because it is at this point it starts to load the default pictures, tones, themes etc.

If you do a master reset anything that you personally have installed on the phone such as games, tones, pictures, themes etc will be deleted, but all the sony ericsson pre-defined stuff will still be there.

Its just fake i ruined my phone :-( my all downloads were deleted . Still no increase in memory . Pre-defined stuff is not deleted it just hides

This thread reminds me of my first days on Esato. People were having arguments about the merits of the 13 second trick. After doing it on my T300 weird things started happening to my phone. GPRS would start-up out of the blue and my phone would re-boot by itself. Like someone before said, it does not delete the predefined items...just hides them. It also messes up your phone.

Not worth doing imho. Haven't heard of any phone being damaged due to this though.z
