If a seperate forum is not going to be allowed for selling non cell phone items then I see no problem with a link to others that do allow it.

If we're going to start just repeating posts instead on answering questions then we can just repeat the questions!
1) Why were those 2 posts removed? Seems like fear of competition
2) Is there any actual reason for this sale restriction other than 'its not in the essence of Esato'?
If we can see clear logic it'll be easier for people to understand this restriction.
3) Please explain how selling non-mobile items is any different to talking about non-mobile items?

I think this is a real insult, and a slap in the face for the people that make this place what it is..We have been around for many years and supported this website and made it what it is today. Correct me if I am wrong but @Laffen does this as his full time job so that must mean he is making some sort of profit from our knowledge and addiction.
So please tell me what harm is there if we sell non-mobile items ? You and I both know there is no harm and saying those threads that were deleted are of no relevance is utter ****shit. You saying we cant sell things here and we saying ok cool we will move over to somewhere else and sell it there.
So until @Laffen answers and says what he wants to then keep selling your stuff guys and make the most of the Trsusted Sellers List that @MikLSP put his time and wap allowance into.
Put it this way if we cant sell out items then we cant make a few extra change which means we cant live the lavish life of 24/7 broadband or gprs, which in turn means you have no ESATO.

If i create a site, i will only be creating it for people to be able to buy/sell items other than mobiles and will be free to use! I am happy to create a site for people to use and i wont charge anyone! I am in the middle of creating it now, i will need as many people to use it when i create it as possible because i will need so many hits per week or month (not sure on which yet) else my free domain will close
so when i have it up and running, you can then use both this site and my site to sell any item that you have so there are no fee's that way everyone is happy!

hi, laffen said those simply because the volumes of non related items were too huge for a biased mobile phone site.... perhaps if you were keeping lower profiles and advt.ise imp items.. (i mean thing NOT like the jeans, hats and deo's that were on sale,(were like a mockery) and the mammoth PC thread.... ) laffen would NOT have issued a statement like that.. keep going and within a month or two these items would come up again.. then perhaps keeping a lower profile might help

No sorry m8, its jus a normal forum. Anyone is ok to join and its free to buy/sell things and to discuss anything you want. Now you can sell your non mobile related items and also, you now have another site aswel as esato to sell your things so you will have more chance of selling them. Just hope this helps esato out now with the non mobile related section. Please note, please dont stop using esato just coz my site has the section esato doesnt, that isnt y i created it, i created it to help ppl
