Sharp 902sh and input for Japanese!

Hi All!

tell me what you think of this!

Phoned Vodafone UK today and asked why can't the Japanese input be enabled on the UK 902sh!

After a wait, and hearing three cd' tracks.........

I was told,

902 has an optical recognition scanner, ( Yes, I know bar code reader ) therefore please scan in a Japanese character set, and use them in your emails!!

I wonder what they were thinking about!
