Theres the camera review though its not in english!!
Posted by etaab
It doesnt matter, we dont need to have a translator to look at photos taken with the camera.
Good find !
EDIT: ah, from that link we can see videos playback in fullscreen vertically and horizontally !

The person who took the pictures took all the pictures in normal mode and 2 in fine!! Damb can't wait for another person to give us more pictures!!
Also the 2 which are in fine are above 450kb... whereas as the normal ones are 200-300 huge difference there!!

But look at what they are compared to, the Samsung P750.
The K700i takes much better pictures, and they're smaller in file size !
Good job

Also agree
Great Photos taken by the K750
No rival at the moment for sure Posted by GeniusOne
i must say that the video encoding is outstanding. even with fast moving objects, it doesnt blur.
Posted by $hé®îNghÀm3:16
Few things which annoyed me or could have been done better through the review. As this guys stuff is usally top stuff, i would thought that the comparison would have been done through an actual 2 megapixel camera, s700 (as that samsung was 1.3).
Shown more pictures in fine, more video's a few other things, though maybe all will become more clear when in english
@etab what do you mean you can see the videos in fullscreen??
Posted by GeniusOne
it has been known for quite some time that you can view the videos in full screen on the k750i. havent you seen the pictures of that?
Posted by $hé®îNghÀm3:16
@geni
I know about the fullscreen video playback, though i dont understand what etaab means..??
'EDIT: ah, from that link we can see videos playback in fullscreen vertically and horizontally !
From the link you can see fullscreen in vertically and horizontally?? hmm??

$hé®îNghÀm3:16, we've already seen pictures of the K750 playing videos in vertical full screen from other sites, but the mobile-review link proves they also play in horizontal or landscape.
Btw, the S700i is 1.3mp also, not 2.0mp, so why shouldn't they compare the phone with the Samsung ?
Looking over the pictures again, i think whilst they are good pictures, the photographer seemed to rush many of them. Quite a few are pretty blurred as if they were taken before the focus was allowed to work. Also, many of them are of dark or dull scenes which do not show the capabilities of the camera as much as the review should.
With the amount of options the Cybershot interface provides, i think its possible to generate much better pictures than those demonstrated by mobile-review.

@$hé®îNghÀm3:16
The Samsung used to compare uses a 2 MP CCD camera (mentioned in the ussiona version of the review) and should in theory (but not in practice) give better pictures than SEs 2 MP CMOS.

Keep the faith,1 1/2 to 2 months remaining

Full screen videoplayback is only in Landscape mode.
You turn the phone for maximum viewing area in full screen mode.

English translation is online at mr! Anyone care to copy paste it for the wappers? ;-)

Yeah your right the s700 is 1.3mp but your telling me you didnt look and try comparing a few pictures with that and the k750? I sure in hell did, that samsung maybe a 2mp though the pictures are much worse then the s700. Although the samsung is a 2mp i would rather have had that and a few other comparasions Maybe 1 or 2 pics with s700 (s700 becasue its the model which is being taken over by the k750 with imageing. As you can see from the samsung pictures, 2mp means nothing, there has to be reason for the k750 to step ahead of the s700 and i just want some hard evidence).
Though i agree with what your trying to say as, i didnt know the samsung was a 2mp at first.

hi
is the sound good in the k750 ?
Posted by numb
The phone is not out yet, how do you expect an answer to that ??
Posted by vegetaleb
@numb Perhaps someone has a proto here
SE didn't give any info about possibility of upgrading FW by the usb cable given,no?
Posted by numb

I doubt it, only a very few number of protos has been distributed.
I can only think of one here who has a proto at this time.
To give an answer to the question, yes, the sound is good. I still think its a silly question at this time though, as its still protos and you would need more than one opinion to judge the soundquality.
no info on the FW upgrade question available atm.

Does the k750 have features like smartphones, where you can download lots of things on there... for example
sat nav?
Posted by babysmile
No.. it won't..
btw, just see the info from sony ericsson web site..
hahaha

@ $hé®îNghÀm3:16
Dont worry. In the weeks to come we'll see many more pictures taken with the K750's camera, which will prove just how good it is.
Remember, the S700i takes pretty poor images just like any 1.3mp cameraphone if the user does not have the settings correct, its the same with the K750.
We just need someone with a bit of mobile photography experience to get their hands on the K750, and show us just what the camera is capable of.
Im not a professional photographer, but from experience of Sony Cybershot cameras and their interface i can tell from those pictures on mobile-review, whoever took them obviously rushed them and didnt take time to get the settings optimal for the conditions.

Hello all, I am new to this forum. Been reading it for a while. Thought I might as well join in. OK I am not a se user at the moment. However I am looking forward to the se 750i. The last se phone I had was the k700. Now I was dissapointed in this phone, reason being is the battery life and i didn't like the buttons on the phone, pressing the buttons gave me a clickety effect. I prefer the buttons that are on the t610. Now I am hoping the battery life is better on the k750 and that the buttons don't give a clickety effect. If the buttons are ok, and the battery life is better, then bye bye nokia6100 and samsung d500 (my current phones). Since reading the specs of the k750, its just a wow for me. I heard its out in quarter 2. Dose anyone know when that will actually be? I mean what month? This year?..
Posted by etaab
Expect it to release sometime in June for the UK, it might come out earlier, but i very much doubt it.
As for the screen size, SE keep the screen small so it fits the phones form factor. Remember, the K750 and the K700i before it still have higher screen resolutions over almost all Nokia phones.
The K750 has a screen resolution of 176x220, whereas Nokia phones have 176x208, and the screens are larger. That means you can see the pixels easier, and images on the screen do not look as sharp as they would on the K750 screen.
Its not size that matters IMO, but the resolution.
Posted by vanquish
Every Nokia phone? I don't think so...
Brightness matters too, quality of the colouring etc. not just resolution!

Try reading the full thread. He asked why the screen isnt large.
I dont understand how the brightness or colour depth affects the screens overall size.
Another case of someone not using their loaf.
EDIT: btw, i said almost all Nokia phones, not every Nokia phone. Again, please read and understand posts thoroughly before posting nonsense.

The size is important because if you want play video in fullscreen mode and for good play and good web wap navigation it's better to play it in bigger screen with higher resolution like nokia serie60 instead of k700/K750i and the best for video playback it's s700 matrix but it's a pity that the phone it's too big

Nokia series 60 is LOWER resolution than the K700i
Posted by etaab
Thats my point.
Its not the screensize that determines why the S60 Nokia phones display web pages better, but the Symbian OS.
If the K700i's pixels were the same size as say a Nokia 6600's pixels, the K700i would have a slightly larger screen.
So, really the K700i has the hardware capable of doing so, SE just choose not to implement it in their software.
Posted by numnums
hmm, this calls for a visual:
this should show that SE has a higher resolution screen but more miniaturized hardware. please tell me if there's a better way to show this and i'll change the pic!

I'm really impressed with this one... great follow up to my k700i!
Posted by dj_wolfinstein
well, if at all in comparision with a K 750i..What could eb the reasons one would want to buy a Z 800..!
Here are a few Reasons why I would not..!
1) Looks are pretty shitty, The Z 600 ahd better looks and was more stylish..The SE Logo next to the Blue screen is missing here in this Z 800..!
2) 1.3 MP camera compared with a K 750i 2.0MP camera..So does it mean the Z800 will be priced less in respect to a K750i.
3) Looks like the Box pack will include the same goodies like a K750i- A USB data Cable+MStick+ Headphones - The ones with K 750i look better..
regards

VERY NICE

@dj_wolfinstein
Although the Z800 has only 1.3 MP camera compared to that 2 MP on K750, it doesn't mean that the prices of Z800 should be less than the K750 because Z800 support 3G/UMTS while K750 is not.

Is there any one that has tested the k750 here i need to know if the vibration is stronger then in the k700 because the k7's vibration is so weak i need somthing that will shake the earth.
Posted by etaab
Good job numnums, those pictures explain it perfectly.
Snowbear, i think i recall someone saying the K750 used the exact same vibration motor as the K700, so it should be the same. I forget where i read it, it might not be true, we'll have to wait for a proper in depth review.
