Hi, there all i just figured out how to email and post messages. I have got a t630. And just wondered if any one could clue me in a bit on this wap thingy. Like where 2 in to chat in a chatroom or any good sites. Cheers everybody!

I think yahoo does offer pop3 mail but you gotta say for it. Sign up for free email at wap.mymail.ro. Also on the web, you can sign up at www.bluebottle.com.

Here are the settings for mymail.ro: Connect using- your full gprs account. Incoming server- mail.mymail.ro Outgoing server-mail.mymail.ro. Mailbox- your id Well, that sums it up i guess!

I tried that and it could not find it is that because i put the smtp and pop3 in front of it. And cheers again you are the man

At the start of in and out going server's. Just tried it without smtp and pop3 and still says server not found. For mail box i put my user name. I s this correct or not. I think i might need a bit more instruction. :-) i am am idiot

Ok here's it in more detail! :-D Connect using: Your gprs account. PROTOCOL: Pop3 INCOMING SERVER:mail.mymail.ro MAILBOX: your id without the part after @ PASSWORD: *** :-D OUTGOING SERVER : mail.mymail.ro OUTGOING PORT:25 EMAIL ADDRESS: yourid@mymail.ro Note that mymail.ro servers crash often and you may not be able to connect to it sometimes. I just put mymail.ro and it works fine. I mean it is the same as putting pop.mymail.ro or mail.mymail.ro . U have to use full internet apn, not the one used for wap.

And how do i do that go. I have not got a clue. How do i use apn internet and not wap. What do i need 2 type. This Is my settings mailbox: potter***@Password:****In serv. Mail.mymail.roThe same for out and my email add. Dose this look right m8.

In the mailbox option, put only your username. I.e if your email address is potter@mymail.ro, the mailbox would be simply potter. Without the mymail.ro part. Try it!

Go to connect and there are data accounts. There u enter a new apn. For example my apn for wap is gprswap, and for full internet it is gprsinternet. I suposse this is different for ur cell operator.

Remember that you need a full internet account for using pop3. A waponly account won't do.
