Cant wait come on button and bar honda

Posted by Astral1
Another vote for Button, and BAR/Honda here.

If they dont win at least a couple of races this time, their credibility will be shot!

Should be interesting to see what the Russian version of Jordan can do, as well. Can money make all the difference? Another Chelski, anyone?

COME ON U REDS!!!

i know the mclaren fans cant or shudnt expect nothing after what happen last year! be realistic... Montoya's good but even he cant drive a poorly built car (all round engine+body) but maybe they will be of some challenge this year... Im no fan of Button.. liked Sato better. Are there no renault fans..... love watchin them start!!!!!!

Posted by govigov
reaults are my second choice....

Posted by JK
HEY THERES AN INDIAN F1 DRIVER!!!!!!!!
Im so proud... hope hes good!!

Posted by shyam335
786KBR ,
lets see what happens than arguing here (ferrari camp is much nervous this year ,btw) .

Posted by govigov
Nah, mclaren has poor chance. . . . . They didnt even had a proper car last year!

Posted by shyam335
i dont like to argue here (silly bun fights!),
well, guys have u heard of the break up and the things going on behind the scenes?
i read somewhere to day that minardi wont most probably wont race for australian gp (coz they r using 2004 car, which is not modified , so every other teams except ferrari agreed to give a concession for minardi etc etc...........)

mmmmmm a modified Minardi.... im sure every1's so scared!

Ferrari nervous????? every1 is nervous!!!

Imagine you the best... all the other teams hate you for winning everything.... they spend billions trying to beat you... in todays day and age with so much technology... its very very possible so im sure Ferrari or any team in the world would be!!!

Ferrari all the way!

First day of GP fever for the 2005 season in Melbourne.

Yesterday the city was closed off, and the F1's performed a few laps around the major city streets. Heaps of people turned up out of high-rises, offices, retail stores, etc.

Mark Webber did a few burn outs, was quite cool. Pity the Williams setup is not finalised - Webber probably wont finish the race.

Posted by JK
Thanks for the update..

Y wont he finish the race?

Posted by Foooon
Hi guy's,

Excellent idea to start this thread. I'm a Ferrari fan and think even with the new qualifying rules, Shumi will kick ass.

The only driver to give him a hard time will be Webber. However i'm going to go to the Turkish GP in August and i'm looking for a good deal, which includes Flights-Hotel and race tickets.......Lets uz know if you come across something?

thanks

Ferarri all da way! If rubens gets a reliable car he can win

Posted by govigov
there is nothing wrong with RB's car. its just the way micheal sets up his car that makes the diff.

Posted by BOSSHOGG
MS all the way. I'm giving tonights qualifying a miss since it's aggregate times with a sunday session. Pit stops will be less interesting now since they need to use the same tires in final Q and through the entire race. Which i can only imagine will give schumi an advantage since he performs best on the ragged edge. Be interesting to see what the tires look like after the race, the manufacturers have been working on new full race compounds.

Posted by BOSSHOGG
All the teams inc ferarri agreed to let minardi race, but the stewards said no. Minardi took out a temp injunction and got permission to race in tonights qualifying. They have a hearing later tomorrow to get permission to take part in the race. It's because they don't have an engine that'll last 2 race weekends, and a couple of other things.

Of course, me will go to the perennial - underdog = Ferrari ! Rumors have it that this will be Michael Schumacher's last year in the F1 race, after having etched his name in F1's list - record holder to date and siphoning Ferrari's coffers in hunderds of millions of dollars - who won't QUIT !

Posted by Rhino8
Interesting facts, toyota had a bigger budget in 2004 than ferrari, $296mil and f $293mil, mercedes 3rd with $283. Jordan only had $55mil,and minardi $31 .

fisichella wins?
edit: confirmed , fisichella won the australian gp .

I cudnt watch the race-coz none of my tv networx showed it, what happened to shumie?

Posted by Davo_169
he was number 19 on the starting grid, HAHAHAHAHAHA

Posted by Rhino8
Lmao!

Posted by BOSSHOGG
That was cos he got caught i a huge downpour in q1, so he just changed engine and took the 10 position penalty. So he'll have a newer engine next race. I'm gonna have to watch the repeat, i watched the one hour build up, but the engine roar soothed me to sleep during the race :-( i woke up at the interviews at the end.

Posted by folling182
yuhuuuuuuuu

Fisichella 1st and Alonso 3rd!!!

Im a Alonso fan, but seeing as i now work for renault, im glad that fisichella won !

Posted by harvey172
r they really only allowed 1 set of tyres per GP???

Posted by BOSSHOGG
Yep, just finished watching it. Suprisingly close with the top 5, and the tires look almost new. The manufacturers obviously worked hard on that. It's funny seeing a full pit crew with guys at the wheels to remove/replace the air cap and others change the pressure if needed.

Posted by harvey172
yep gud show.

Posted by BOSSHOGG
lol@DC and his bad boy stubble, good show from him especially. Rubens did well too, perhaps an indication MS would have walked it if he wasn't for that downpour yesterday?
