The k810 is avilable in Egypt since Early June for about 2900 LE , P1 is out there allready in Dubai for almost 4000 DH Hopefuly in Egypt soon .

hi guys....this day i went to axiom in alex.....and to tell u the truth, the service is very good...ppl r friendly and they allow u to try the phones by yourself (great !
i found the K810 for 2850 LE...which is very expensive as my brother in dubai told me it costs there around 2100 LE...the thing is axiom egypt doesn't recognize warranties from other gulf countries ( i was shocked !!!) so if u buy a phone from axiom dubai, the warranty wont work in egypt ....
anyway, now i don't know what to do ...does the warranty deserves +750 LE ????
what do u think ? Help !

yeah i saw the Mobile shop add. in the Ahram Newspaper, so i called them, they know nothing about the W580 whatsoever, but they do have the P1i for 4490, i confirmed with Delta Communication the distributor and importer, they have P1i in stock but in limited numbers, and again they know nothing about the W580, no arrival date or price or anything, apparently they don't even know that it exists.....!!
On a side note, anyone here with a previous online mobile shopping experience?? can you share it with us? was it smooth and what happened?

Yesterday I dropped into the Mobbile Shop near me, well to check out the S500 they've advertised and see if there's any hope of their being a W610 in Egypt. No sliders and only the Z310 clamshell. W610? Well there's the W660 is what I got. Of course I was like I can see that you moron but that isn't quite what I asked. And no he had no idea if it will ever come. And now I just sent SE an email, heck somebody has to complain.

Axiom? Hmmm, now where are ther Axioms in Cairo? Last time I checked their website doesn't mention anything about Egypt. W710 is also out of stock, just asked. Z610 is in again. Anyways does this mean that Axiom will carry things that MS don't. Is Axiom cheaper? Or is it on a per model basis? Z610 is 1800 for example.

Same and sometime's less by 50-100 LE , alzo you can find dat @ any mobile dealer wiz Good price's u know .. but its still an advantge after all . The thing with Axiom is u wont get the international warranty like i2 in some other countries around beside they have a bad Cs reputation in many arabian countries .

Just discovered this forum and I've been using the Esato for several years to find answers to my SE software and hardware problems.
I currently have a P990i and I'm looking for a car charger for it.
I checked with most Mobile Shops, Axiom and Delata and all seem to tell me they just ran out of stock. Anyone has an idea where I can find one?

Unfortunatly I don't. But I don't buy their story either. My guess is the never bothered to stock it in the first place. I don't know if it will help but contacting SE should be a good idea, even its just to know how poor their agents are in egypt.

Checked with SE. They have it , but the weird thing is that the Heiliopolis shop sells it for L.E. 120 while the Mohandesin shop sells it for L.E. 150 !!!! I'll check if the have another shop else where...mabey I can get it for less....he he

I never cared or knew much about mobile phones before so when I was reading through the posts I was like "What's 3GP/GPRS?? What are these people talking about?" lol.
Now I'm a little wiser and will definitely do research before buying my next cell. Thanks to especially mahora and mustafabay for the enlightening posts, it's too bad they both stopped posting a few months ago.
My current phone is the
Z610i, I only got it because it looks cool with the glossy cover. I really should have picked a 
phone with a flash camera instead.
