Core duo is newer and should be better than a Pentium M, not P4 but P M. Lenovo is a decent brand. Now is it plainly for business or is there any gaming to be done on it? Either way check out your options and then look for a few reviews covering the exact model, sometimes a model comes out bad from the best of companies and sometimes they reach brilleance. If you couldn't be bothered tell me the models you're considering and then maybe I'll dig up the reviews and give you a verdict

I'd just like competition in this country. I mean isn't the middle east and egypt like a continuation of Europe in the term of sails? So why does SE not care? Till now Raya hasn't avertised itself as being an SE dealer, is Sagem more important? When I walked into Raya I expected to see new phones but all I saw was exactly what deltek had and nothing new. Now I do plan to buy a phone quite soon but how do I do that when all the prices are way over any other country not to mention that they don't move down. How many months does it take to release a phone? I'd like to buy something better than the W300, technically I should be able to choose between a Z550, Z710 and W710 and if I wait the K550, K770, W770 and W610 all would be options, but since the launched phones aren't here yet what chance do the yet to be announced have. Shouldn't SE be getting about Egypt? Everyone has had a nokia for so long now they probably want a change.

Well, its usually WYSIWYG with deltek and I haven't seen a P910 in a while so I guess not. And since we all know deltek's incompetence I'd think they'd try to sell it for LE 4000 if they did.
I know axiom, but it still doesn't matter. i2, was etisalat, is a dealer for almost every brand existing but only sells nokia in Egypt.
I'm wondering if Raya might have bought deltek's dealerships, seeing that so far I haven't seen anything that deltek doesn't have, I'll check them out again today and hopefully they'll be something new.

Iphone's software is nice other than that it's something for the American market. By the time it get here we'll be wnting something better than 5MP cameras and N95 will probably have a successor. But then I still don't care I'm going to buy a phone soon and it'll be in the $300 range. W810 although unlikely, W770 or a 3G version if Etisalat has contracts with subsidised phones, or maybe a ROKR. Apple, there's too much hype and not enough substance.
And on Etisalat, there was a one page article/ad about the first 3G call by the minister of communications. The minsty partners a lot with microsoft, you'd have thought that one of the phones would be a 3G Windows Mobile phone. They didn't say when service will start but maybe it'll be March afterall?

Well I'm not sure but I think the E2 is LE1800. Hopefully SE's will come down in price and maybe some newer ones will be closer to that price.

I don't know about hiding your phone number, but a phone card won't work. Your number will still come up as 0808xxxxxxxxx and mobiles recognise the number.

, anyway the w880i a lil bit overpriced but its got a smakin desigen for sure , the k550i is really nice with reasonable price indeed but only the blk color is avilable and i really like the white one .. also the w880i only the silver one is avilable so far and i really like the Blk one Hehe .. anyhow im still satisfied wiz ma Gr8 w850i and im really intrested on da upcommin Nokia 5700 seems like a Good one 2

The only reason why I want to get one from here is the waranty. And all SEs are overpriced in Egypt. A K750 is around 1800 with waranty but in Dubai its less than 1100. It goes for everything. I hope the W610 will either knock the W810 under 2000 or itself be under that, I know its a long shot but.. I think I'd like the black W610 but as you know we only seem to get one color. The only Z610 I've seen is the pink
although I've seen street ads with the blue.

I also aprecciate what they did with the K610, they waited till the price dropped and then brought it out, 1700 too
The problem is they always bring it out when expensive then they overprice it anthen they don't let the price drop like it does abroad. Of course if they would advertise more they might be able to sell the first and expensive batch and then bring another batch at a lower price, te2oul eeh ba2a.. The K800 is still 3000 although they did announce the K810 which should be cheaper than that, espesially with the K850 coming.

Of all the discriptions for the W880, silly has to be the weirdest. I haven't actually seen it in person yet but it looks ok and its thin and not a moto or Samsung.
And Moe, the 5700 is ugly, just like the 3250 was in that color. A phone should be colored to make it look thin not FAT.

For some reason the mobile shop that just opened a few days ago near my home was closed today. The weirder part is the sign was down, they only put that up 2 days ago. I had really wanted to get a pic before the sign as the sign under it is for a resturant

IS and LOOKS are different. Ok remember the 6610? How thin was it? Well about the same as the 5700. However the design espessially from the sides made it look super thin. The exact opossite is going on with the 5700.
My next phone will be something I can afford obviousely. K550 or K610 are both current options as are the W610 and W810. And my final decision will be after etisalat starts operating. If they subsidise enough maybe a K800 would be an option.
