Its a nice place to live,
It also has ealing which has more pubs per square metre, than anywhere in the UK.

....which is convenient as I work in Acton, which is just down the road, though a whole load less desirable as a place to live!
@govi
It's expensive because there's a lot of demand, as it's a particularly affluent part of London, which is a particularly affluent part of the UK, which is a pretty affluent country.....I suppose

Acton, is quite dangerous as soon as t gets dark! There is not much n acton either. Just up the road is ealing and everything just skyrockets.
A 2 bedroom flat half a million! easy

@davo, below24, what more ealing, acton. Then? Ealing is good, heavy prices, 2million for a 2 bed app!

I think you're probably best living elsewhere other than the southeast of the UK because it just so damned expensive! You can get 2-bedroom apartments in a small city near me, in a fairly desirable area for about £90,000, and it's close to a dual carriageway - there's a few industrial estates nearby too, therefore a good place for business premsises, good transport links, and no ludicrous London prices!
