How do i set up my Email on a K700i? When i try to email a picture to my hotmail account, it comes up with connection failed, and goes back to the send screen. I really need to set this up because i am taking photos for a school project, and don't have infared, bluetooth or a usb cable on my computer.

Cheers

Jack

I don't think hotmail has pop3 mail access. Sign up for a free pop3 mail account like that of mymail.ro, enter the settings in your phone and You're ready!

Cheers, i'll try that now.

Do you know how to change the language in that site to english?

The most simple solution to your problem is to choose to send it via picture msg, then when your at the stage where you would normally enter a telephone number. Enter in an e-mail address.

True, but also the most expensive. Email is tricky to set up, but once done, you only pay the GPRS charge for the picture (about 10p for a 30-40k pic), rather than the standard network cost.

Post here if you need any more help with setting up the client in your phone, I have mine set up and sends and receives just fine using Yahoo UK.

The mymail.ro website is in romanian. But the wapsite is in plain english and is a pleasure to sign up.

Would this site also work for a T630?

Yes. It will work with any phone/pc with the simplest email client.

Post the settings you used, i.e. server names and so forth. If there's anything I can see wrong, I'll let you know.

im gettin da same server error!!!

Try using the server IP addresses instead. Open a DOS prompt and type ping followed by the server name, it will return the IP address for the server. I used to have to do this on my old T68i, maybe it will work for you.

I dont get it

I believe you also need to set up an additional data connection in the phone. The one for wap typically blocks port 25, hence server not found. Do a search on internet apn in esato. I needed this for my t68i. Now my network provider charges for this, so didnt bother to set up on k700. By the way, gmail also has free pop3 access
