i recently bought my phone and when i first got it i could store about 100 messages, but recently this has gone down to about 7, i have no messages in my snet folder and none saved to my sim card, has anyone els ehad this problem? or does someone have a solution to fix this? i have tried updating my firmware via the SE update pageand have done a master eset but neither of these have done anything.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thats one strange bug! Never heard about it before! What firmware are you on right now?

I remember this being talked about before on here. Sadly I can't remember the solution or which forum. It's definitely been discussed here though, so try a search or browse through.

Have you any MMS in your inbox. It's more due to the amount of storage it puts aside for texts than number of them.

I do remember I started having the same problem so I transferred them all to FMA which done the trick.
Not saying that should be the solution.
