digital zoom mean make pull the photo to larger size and crop it only. This surely will get pixelized or we call it noise in camera that using iso 400 film.

sanjeev: The brand is O'rite... not sure manufactured from which country but comes with warranty. But I do like it becoz a camera so cheap can have expansion slot, LCD & the quality is really great. However, there are a lot of revews from other buyers saying that it's a great digicam.
The ipaq is really expensive... I like my m130 but won't mind a m515
... Nokia has been producing a lot... a lot of phones now & they all are almost the same. As for SE, though it's late, it's worth the wait becoz SE won't come with something new & similar (eg: T200, T600, T300). I like Ericsson phones & I feel that the T68m/i is the ultimate phone anyone can have & with the acessories, possibilities are endless! However, can it really survive till end of 2003??? The P800 is going to be expensive so I'll just wait for another 6 more mths when the price comes down...

yea, i think the casio exilim does not have any optical zoom. But when looking at such entry level of digicam, what i would really like to look at it's the flash, many of the camera's flash is too weak and the quality sucks when the pics are taken dim light conditions
The Canon A200 is selling at around RM750-799 in M'sia with a free 8MB CF card, but i would assume it is much cheaper in Singapore, maybe around S$350 if not mistaken, but the downside is the A200 runs on AA batteries, you will only manage to take maybe a couple dozens of pictures with flash and with the digital viewfinder on before you will have to charge the AA batteries again. But the casio exilims offers a unique rechargeable battery for it's camera (optional) and it will last much longer like other built in rechargeable digicams

@chaostan: Talked to the guys in southall (during their roadshow in Mid-Valley)....p800 supposedly to hit our shores before XMas....yup!! that's wat they told me!!! and the price (altho not finalised yet - pending ok by SE) will not be above RM3k.......dunno bout the accessories bundled with the handset tho.....i'm still waiting for them to call me once it's finalised....will post again when i hear from them....cheers!!

i think canon will be better choice. Canon color is wonderful or can say exactly the same like the one you see. Canon a200 is a good buy . Last weekend i saw one in seremban terminal 1 . rm890 for camera + 64mb cf + recharger battery + charger.
Sony product is ok, but you need to put out more money for it memory stick. 128mb ms is arround rm280

I couldn't agree more with u on the memory stick. Sony only includes a 4mb memory stick! Memory stick in SG is cheaper I guess... abt $60+ for a 64mb...

if you don't really really really really need a digital camera, don't get it first. First, technology is not mature yet. With 2mega pixel photo (1280 X960) you can just print out as 5R photo. Those cheap kodak film can promise to have good quality at least for 10R. Second, price surely will drop after new product come out, maybe 10mega pixel? 20 mega pixel ?

But, carrying my normal camera ard is frustrating becoz I only get to see those picts after the film has finished (which is abt 3 - 4 mths time). I dun really take a lot. The last pict took was with J.B Jayaratnam!

then you can go for it since it perfectly suit your need. I believe singapore also have something call digital print right? It's a photo shop that do printing for digital format. Either fujifilm or kodak express. Malaysia printing price is rm0.70 for 4r. It's cheaper then buy a printer + photo ink + glossy paper.
