And furthermore, the price (when it hit Malaysia) will not be less than the price at USA. I never heard of any imported things that are sell for a lower price than USA market. I've made some check up for the T300 on the internet. be pleased to check:
http://search.shopping.yahoo.com/search/all?clink=&p=Sony+Ericsson+T300&tool=0&did=
kindly regards and have a nice day.

sorry again but i have made some check up and the T300 is retail at $500++ USD (WITHOUT the MCA-25). Off course they are places with lower price, u just need to search for it.
kindly regards and have a nice day.

For your info, the T300 is about Rm 800++, just convert 230 euros.....
AND it is NOT imported !!

Yeap,definitely made in Malaysia
price should be around RM800-RM1000 the most ,confirmed by SE
T68mi price is RM1150 for original set now and T300 is aimed for middle-low end users and certainly the price will not exceed T68mi
Anyway there is much more info about the T300 price in this forum itself
Posted by wrecked_porsche
T68m is RM 999.
Posted by nangsat
is it the phone cost
kindly regards and have a nice day.

Does a T300 have bluetooth? Or infrared? MMS enabled? If got all three impt features, I won't mind buying it provided I sell my T68 first (to get the $$
P800 is like the ULTIMATE phone... complete with everything but there was news recently regarding these mobiles with cameras... some hotels & public places (eg: swimming pools) in SG are banning it! Sounds ridiculous but if really really think hard... their reasons for doing so are valid.
Comparing prices between SG & M'sia... which is cheaper? I hate the fact that the mobile subscriptions in SG are soooo expensive & really rip us off! U guys shld count urself lucky! I pay an average of RM$300 every month
Posted by scrreech
I am really intereste in getting the P800 but if it's too costly... I guess will have to wait abt a month's or 2 so that the price is lower. If still expensive... then buy 2nd hand from auction! Then, it'll be soo much cheaper!
Posted by wrecked_porsche
Yup, the t300 has all except bluetooth :-)...Lucky...?
Posted by nangsat
the T300 has NO bluetooth, but they have the infra-red and MMS.

yea, scrreech,we are quite lucky but i think it follows the standard of living, our monthly paid wages are well below those who work in singapore with equal qualification and ranks, so i think everything is running proportionately
Anyway,do u happened to know how much is a Nokia 5510 in singapore now?i heard the price drop drastically these few weeks
Thanks!
Posted by wrecked_porsche
I wan my t300 oledi... NOW !!
Posted by scrreech
T300 no bluetooth?
veon: I actually had to look for a website showing the Nokia 5510 (becoz I dunno how it looks like :Þ) I have no idea how much exactly is the market price for a brand new 5510. I just checked Yahoo! Auctions & someone's selling it for only SGD$250. This is what he said:-
(hi i have a nokia 5510 standard package still have 4 months warranty. The phone condition is tip-top working condition.Just upgraded software from nokia care with the receipt will be attach to the phone when pass to the new owner .Change the LCD , and the keypad too. Everything is included usb cable, cd rom, earphones , box , manual & most important it still cover by warranty. Just upgrade the software yesterday with service document attached)
I really don't think that we are paid more $$. Becoz if minus all those stupid utility bills... housing bills... etc..etc.. we're so much worse off. Unless stay in JB, work in SG (like a lot of M'sians in JB are doing). I see them changing hundreds of dollars to Ringgit at the money changer
Posted by veon18
Wow..i think they are the smart ones , earning at singapore's standard while expenses are only charged at malaysia's standard....
Thanks man scrreech for going through the troubles for just searching the price of 5510. The 5510 is a bit weird, heavy and small minute key presses which i think my thumb can cover 4 key presses at once(2 on top and 2 below)
But what i like best is 64MB memory which can record almost 2 hours of songs, just as a spare phone and for entertaiment, not recommended for primary usage though
and yea, P800 does turn me on...hehe..but the price turns me off almost immediately
will sell my T68i soon and purchase a Panasonic GD87 once it's release
wat to do...no $$$....saw Motorola T720 in midvalley megamall today selling at almost rm1.5k,wonder how the phone preforms

Hi!
I'm from Manila and I'm going to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow for business. Question:
How much is a mineral grey T68i there? It costs around Rm1,145 here.
Is texting popular there? if so, can I get your celphone numbers so I can ask questions thru text when I'm there?
Thanks for your replies!
Posted by veon18
RM1145 for an original gray T68i in Manila?that's cheap
in Malaysia original T68i cost at least RM1,400 each unless u get it from grey markets(illegal sets),but bear in mind that it's not covered by warranty and it is unlikely to find gray T68i in grey markets here
:>

O vertigo,
can U PM me how U got my e-mail address ??

Where where where where where where where where ?!!??!???!!?!

veon: I am not very sure of a brand new NK5510 sold in shops. I, personally would go for second hands if I want a mobile phone that's high-end & too costly in the market
I just a Motorola T720 selling for $550 (brand new). Some pple in SG sell their phone as they only want the mobile subscription. If a T720i sselling for 1.5K, it's cheaper in M'sia right? Would price of mobile phones differ in different parts of the states?
A P800 is a HUGE turn on. I waited abt 6 months to get a T68 (which was a dream cellphone

Sanjeev - got your email addy from your website.
Some questions:
1. Where can I go to buy CD's? Original music cd's. Where's the most complete and cheapest? What are the big cd stores in KL?
2. Where can I go to buy cellphone accesories like original casing for the Nokia 6510? I'm looking for a red one.
3. What's the best mall in KL?
4. Where do I go to buy cheap souvenirs for my friends?
5. Where do I go to buy branded rubber shoes like Nike or Puma?
Thanks for your help!
Posted by wrecked_porsche
1. The CDs u can get from many shops in the big malls. Originals. The stalls sell fake ones. 2. The nokia cover, get a fake one will do. They are quite ok. Check out Petaling Street or Sungai Wang Plaza. 3. Hard to say which is the best... They are all good. Serious... What do my fellow malaysians think?4. Cheap stuff get from Petaling Street.5. Dunno. I get my Nike, Adidas and Fila from Australia. :-) Go there often... Hey fellow anak Malaysia, help him lah...

wow,scrreech S$300 for a T68m is really a steal!I bought a T68mi before,used for 2 months warranty from singapore at RM650,guess it's the cheapest i can get,but i sold it off coz i bought another T68i after that
The T68i i used is also an illegal set,coz no $ to buy an original 1,bought it at RM1025,was a little pricy at that time coz now i heard suppliers are only selling at RM800(excluding battery n charger) each(dunno who but the shop dealers told me)
For P800,i dare not buy an illegal set or a non warrantied set coz the firmware might still have bugs and upgrading a firmware bears too much risk, quite a few cases happened in Ericserve b4 that some non-warrantied T68i owners went to upgrade their firmware but somehow the firmware crashed and couldnt be resurrect again and the whole T68i becomes nothing more than a dummy, scary uh?that's why i never upgrade my T68i
And yeap, price do differs a little from places to places in M'sia, but just a slight differences about 1-5 %,currently Penang's price is the cheapest, then melaka. In KL, prices do vary a lot in different parts, like some shop i see in Megamall is selling T68i at RM1799 while others in Sg Wang is selling only at RM1350+......
Posted by veon18
Sg Wang is the answer for most of your questions there(Original CDs,original covers etc)
Nike,Puma and other sports stuff go Pertama Complex(just beside Sogo)
Souveniors go to Pasar Seni near Kota Raya
Posted by wrecked_porsche
I think DiGi is selling T68i for RM11** only. Dunno locked or not... Can someone please check ?

Are there any ways to download files over 3kb from wap ? Im in Sabah and using Celcom prepaid.
Posted by scrreech
veon: What do u mean by illegal sets? U mean it looks like a T68... but actually, SE didnt produce it? If that's the case, I learnt something new! Wah liaoz!!!
I bought my T68 for $300 & it's already been upgraded to T68mi. It's a steal eh?

Visited kuala lumpur last january and i found it a great place! I never had enough of it though! Selamat! Whats d word again for no smoking? Lots of signs like that there. Im from Manila
Posted by spivblazer
I remembered it already! Dilarang merokok right? Filipino and malay language have similar words
Posted by veon18
spiv:yeap, dilarang merokok, thanks for your compliment but there are many snatchers today in the KL town areas so dun go wandering in small lanes or leave ur gf along by the road sides
sccrrech: illegal sets are also known as 'watersets' in our country, for other brands like nokia etc, it means that the handsets are smuggled (by marine) hence 'waterset'.But for SE handsets (manufactured locally in M'sia), it's something like taking the handset directly out from the factory without authourization, it's not SIRIM approved (much like the IDA in singapore), all of the SE illegal sets escaped tax and came directly from the workers hence the price is much lower than original approved set, but the cons are there is no warranty and u can be locked up for 48 hours if some authourities get to know that u are carrying one, which happened b4(it's considered something like u are the buyer for stolen sets). But then if u are planning to use it overseas and are leaving m'sia, might as well get one of these sets since the warranty is only valid in m'sia and not internationally.
Posted by spivblazer
@veon: Thanks for the warning...nevertheless KL is still a great place to see...many greens....
Posted by Vertigo
I'm off to KL now! Thanks for all your help! I'm very exicited to visit your beautiful country! I'll keep that snatchers thing in mind. Bye for now!
