Wah, shits oso using the K750i dee?
One question, how do you guys remove the fast port charger/cable ? Twist upwards(written in manual) or just yank it out straight (drawn in manual) ?
Posted by fu1at
sanj,
by right should follow the manual... but me too use to the old method... i twist a bit like 10 - 20 degree

Posted by wrecked_porsche
@Fu1at, the manual actually tells us to do both...
@Shithappens pulak just yanks it out... So, you still sticking to the v3? Hapy independence day to you and the rest of the Malaysian esato forumers too
Hmmm... seems some people pull the charger out and some twist it out. I asked Alex, he just pulls it out.
I asked "etaab" from this forum, he twists it. My cousin also twists it...
How about you Waja?

Do what you think you read is right. If you hear a snapping sound, cry like mad, then ask Jeffrey (AmCorp SE service center) to help.

Oh, thanks for the info. I'll give it a try then. Right now, my short cuts I've set it through the settings menu.
Posted by wrecked_porsche
Ok, that seemed to have solved it.
Anyone here knows how much the handsfree that came with the K750i costs on its own? I'm planning to do the 3.5mm stereo jack conversion.
Posted by bodum
HPM70? no idea, haven't seen it in shops here yet..i'm on opera mini, great but GPRS costing me a bomb
Posted by wrecked_porsche
No, not the HPM-70 (although I will get that too when it comes out), I'm talking about the handsfree that comes together in the box of the K750i. How much does one cost? Wanna chop up one and do a mod la...

If you get DiGi's unlimited GPRS/EDGE access subscription, it's only RM 99 a month...
Posted by bodum
yeah, i know. but not my budget lah, just hoping i get bored of browsing real soon
BTW digi sucks. who thinks so too? maxis offers so much better services and their customer care is tops.
Posted by wrecked_porsche
DiGi reception sucks inside buildings and basements(my engineering lab). My friends who use maxis can still make and receive calls where I can't with DiGi. I'm going back to Celcom in about a month or so since Celcom GPRS charges have fallen to the same level as digi. Only Celcom's MMS is still more expensive.
Upgraded to R1N for K750i yesterday. BT is more stable, cam improved a little and Java apps are faster now.

I have been using DiGi for 9 years and have no complains about their service. I roam a lot too, so the "basement no signal" arguement doesn't work for me. Plus, I don't usually hang out in the basement.
Posted by wrecked_porsche
Haha... funny la ...
Hehehe... anyway, seriously you don't get "Emergency Calls Only" often with digi? I'm sick and tired of that. I know, I've been told its because of the frequency they use, it can't penetrate into buildings and stuff properly. Oh well, too bad.
So, Ajack, how are you? U seem to have found some spare time from your busy schedule to post here?
Posted by waja800
Upgraded to R1N035.
The only problem I see with DiGi, is that it does not have GPRS while roaming. I had to resort to using my maxis's line for GPRS purposes.
Otherwise, DiGi is still doing OK.
Posted by bodum
you can try visiting the digi service center here in kuching to know why i think so. anyways digi STILL thinks that there's a k700 AND a different model called k700i
is the z520 out yet guys? price, anyone? thinking of getting a backup phone soon.
Posted by wrecked_porsche
Waja, try the video recording m8. HUGE improvement there. Also MP3s are louder now. Java runs faster... slightly faster.
What about the DiGi service centre?
Backup phone? Nah, that model is not out yet.

sanj,
yeap agree with those findout about R1N. not only the video. it seems the camera have impressively reduced so much noise.
bluetooth stable. no problem sending or receiving files.
signal strenght for sure improved. but i notice my battery life shorter a bit as well.
Posted by wrecked_porsche
@Shits, great pics. I like the first sunset pic
I noticed you softened those padi field pics.
@fu1at
Hmmm... batt life I dunno about that as I charge it almost every night. Yup, i noticed an improvement with reception too. Especially since I'm with DiGi...

yeah....testing out new filter......gud eye u got mate....
Posted by waja800
Same here. I noticed an improvement on the reception with my K750i being used with DiGi.
Bluetooth seems to be more stable than R1L002. Every call so far was connected to the headset flawlessly.
@shits,
Nice shots, the padi field pic looks kinda 'special'.

haha sanjeev, yeah i wonder where's everyone too? how's ur k750i?

Great
OMG !
Posted by DarkChild
Just wondering, after you updated the firmware of the k750i, does your computer see the phone as a w800 or k750? Mine now sees my phone as a w800.
Also, my default theme is now the orange walkman theme found on the w800 (I think it's the same one).
Do you guys have those issues?
Cheers
